I absolutely love that zombie barbarian, Grim. Two of my favourite types of fantasy figures in one! Who made/makes him?

Totally getting an Ahnuld vibe from the barbarian king, by the way. That hair colour is perfect for him. I happen to have chosen those two figures to paint up for my wedding cake topper, so I like seeing any painted examples.

He was sold by Grenadier. He is now sold by this company http://www.mirliton.it/index.php?cName=fantasy-2528mm-undead. Or you can try k studio minis in the usa. And barbarian royalty may get stripped and repainted i think I would use nmm gold this time and change the throne to a light marble

The good guys with bad paint jobs

I'm not the only one who had the "Knights of the Round Table" song from Monty Python and the Holy Grail start playing in my mind when first seeing the top picture, right? Right?! (if you click on the gray arrow in the top right corner of the quote box above, it'll take you to the correct post with the pictures in it)

All of the Dragonlance figures makes me a very happy OneBoot. I love the books, the world, the characters, but Tasslehoff in particular; my current Pathfinder character is loosely based off of him. :)

I was really into the Chessex metallic paints back in the day ughh!!! What was I thinking

What's wrong with the metallic paints? They look really neat-o, especially the lady's dress!! ^_^ (Bear in mind that I have an incurable fondness for shiny things :D )

This is such a neat thread!!! My first entry into the world of miniature painting was the Bones I Kickstarter, so I'm still very new! So many really neat miniatures, with cool stories behind them and how/why they were painted. Keep sharing, this is so much fun!

Huzzah!

I'm glad you like Boots. They are pretty neat considering when they were made.
