it's probably because of bias

but these (the new villains) are the figures I'd pick out if someone told me to go through the entire Reaper selection and pick out the most flavorless sculpts.

Looking forward to the next batch, I suppose. Sorry to poop on everyone eases' fun.

 

Awwww, don't be sad! You can always add your own flavor to them with your imagination. ^.^

 

 

There are actually quite a few models that when they first appear I'm all like: "meh". But then I think: "Wait, these are Bones."

 

And suddenly it's all okay.

 

Sometimes this addiction alarms me a little.

Alright. Maybe it is just me, but I can't see a difference in the pictures. Maybe because I have been working on minis too long today?

@Flamehawke - I had to Refresh the page because the old image was still in cache.

Same.

 

I shouldn't be surprised - I mean, this is Kickstarter - but people are actually woofing about the fact that a) they get one more mini now, and b) they're all unique sculpts instead of two repeats (only four unique sculpts).

 

I mean, if you want more ratsassins, get them at retail - or trade for them - or get multiple "Oh, rats!" in the pledge manager.

Having checked out the Hellnights page on some sort of online PF thingie, the sculpts seem true to the artwork.

 

Of course the fluff goes with the "Lawful Evil, the most efficient Lawful" when in fact there's not a single real-world example of a world-beatingly effective fascism, for a number of irreducible and unavoidable reasons. Sorry. pet peeve. Well, one of my pet peeves. Well, to be honest, I kind of run a shelter for homeless and lost peeves in my spare time.

 

 

I love the rats, I hate the dwarf and the centaur, but plenty of people seem to love 'em, so you know, maybe I can trade 'em out.

I had to do a double-take to make sure one of them was actually a centaur...

I originally was not interested in the Oh Rats add-on.

 

Now, between the gopher centaur and Terry Pratchett's rat-catching dwarf, I am interested.

I'm not entirely sure why the Dwarven gimp is there, but hey. I can find something to do with him...

I'm not sold on them, but some of my players will want them. Notably the ones who want to play ratfolk. They are the ones who will decide they need to play one and ask me to paint them up. Good thing I enjoy the painting
