Hello everyone!

I've been lurking the Bones II Kickstarter threads for a couple weeks now since my DM caught wind of the new Kickstarter campaign. We missed the first one and have been green with envy since Bones started showing up at our gaming tables.

I've noticed a few sporadic comments throughout the threads that certain dragon sculpts are intended for specific chromatics and metallics. Is there a list somewhere that could help me match all of the Bones dragon sculpts to their intended targets (Red, Blue, Silver, etc)?

I'ma be useless and say paint the dragons however you like. They are not official D&D sculpts, after all.

I think Ebonwraith is meant to be a black dragon and Deathsleet a white one, but that's the extent of my knowledge. Hopefully someone better acquainted with them than I will be along to help you.

Me, I'm going to paint them however I feel like.

By the fact that the image for the water elementals specifies "blue," and the cube image specifies no color, we can infer that there is no color to be specified. This, to me, also makes sense given the desire to actually see through the cube, as the colored translucents from ks1 are not remotely transparent (nor should they be). Colorless will still be translucent rather than transparent, but not to the extwnt a colored plastic would be.

Of course, this is speculation, and "infer" is a nice way of saying "assume," and you know how that goes.

Ebonwrath is a black dragon

Deathsleet is a white dragon

Cinder is a red dragon

Blightfang is a green dragon

This is all subject to opinion, but it is the gist I get. You can of course change the colors to suit your tastes.

I would also love to see metallics that match up to those and some other dragon varieties, but I'll like adapt the dragons to the colors I want.

As far as I am aware, there are no metallic dragons in that general size range.

Which I assume is due to them being "good" dragons, and thus less likely to be used as combatants vs. players. ::P:

Was Nethyrmaul's color ever specified? I'm not sure it matters so much for an undead dragon, but I'm curious if there's an "official" color for him.

I'll be damned. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/silver%20dragon/sku-down/02539#detail/02539_p_1_mj

Yup. Silver.

He's still relatively small though.

Edit: And here he is with Garrick. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/silver%20dragon/sku-down/02539#detail/02539_p_3_mj

So he's about Flit's size.

Someone had mentioned that the dragon at the top of the first expansion was a Silver. I have no idea how to verify this, but there you are.

No, he's much larger. About the size of the Fire Dragon from "There Be Dragons".
