Be careful with the political stuff before you summon the ladystorm.

<MOD>

Political Discussions are limited to our Beeskeepers Section of the Forum, if you want access and don't have it, contact Kit.

and the usual (and not currently needed) reminder, agree to disagree, each opinion is valid.

A little pre-housekeeping requests (as I am wishing and hoping):

Please review the forum rules and play nice.

Please make every effort to avoid sequential posting, it makes life so much more difficult for those of us who have to clean up after you.

You can always go back and edit your posts to add the thought that comes to you after you hit that post button.

Inserting large graphics or videos are tough for people on weaker connections, please try to limit those.

You can always reply without quoting, or you can edit the quote down to less than all and keep your posts smaller.

and thank you for your efforts in minimizing sequential posting. I've had a lot fewer posts to merge together this time around, PLEASE keep it up.

I'm happy it forced me to sit down and paint. I don't have the luxury of burning out - KS 1 and sundry MUST be done by next year. All 506 of them.

I was starting to get a bit fiddly with them, and the extreme pressure of the job ahead forces me to drop that habit. 400 good minis done next September is worth more than 40 great ones.

And, I mean... Kaladrax turned out okay. Bones + pressure because more Bones seems to work for me. The clock and the crucible, baby! Yeah!

I asked why they renamed the Silver Dragon a fire dragon and Bryan's response was 'Ooops?'

I'm just surprised we've not seen a lot of people saying they don't want a fire dragon, they want a silver dragon....

.... with a bow.

Solomon Grundy wants a Silver Dragon with a Bow!

Some of the add-ons are pretty tempting, and I'm having a lot of trouble sticking to what I budgeted. I blame Reaper Bryan, because there's no way it could be Mystical Reaper Shannon's fault.

Exactly what's keeping me motoring on. I'm actually painting "down through the dungeon levels". I'm at Orcs now and will keep working my way up to the big stuff which will take a bit longer.

I'm not doing a Kaladrax in 7 days unless there is an airbrush involved.

To be honest we didn't hit 100k the last 24h period.

That's a bit of a quibble, though, isn't it? It made 98.5K. That's within standard deviation of 100K. :;): I agree with the general assessment tho; some ups and downs based on what shows up on the unlocks, with another big push at the end, where backers that have been waiting finally jump on board, and existing backers finally adjust their pledges for all the extras they want.

I'm actually relieved by the slower pace now. I feel less compulsion to constantly check the status of the KS to see how much progress there is.

The toughest fae I ever saddled my players with was a pack of puppies.

The PCs took in a dog from some NPCs which turned out to be pregnant. The puppies' sire was a Wild Hunt hound.

They started talking before the end of the first week.

There were the normal complications of caring for a litter of puppies and their mother while adventuring.

Then there was the trouble of dealing with a half-dozen friendly, amoral, powerful little beings.

Sample dialogue:

puppy: "Can we have a cow?"

PC: "No."

puppy: "Uh-oh."

OHH MY FREEKING GOODNESS.... I am soooooooo stealing this for my home campaign!
