hey whats goin on in this thread lotsa talkin i think i missed something but i was wondering if anyone had a list of all the warlord minis included in the last kickstarter, sorted by army??

I only count a few mummies for nefsokar but I just wanna make sure I'm not missing any.

I don't know of a list but there were lots of Warlord minis in the first KS. They practically built my Necropolis army for me; the Fire Giants and Frost Giants got some love and I'm not sure what else but I know there were quite a few.

Yea I noticed a lot of those necropolis guys. This time it seems more uh.. is it reven? Anyway, good start for anyone who wants an army. I'm excited, that giant scorpion and big horas lookin guy are gonna save me some money.

 

 

Anyone know if there's a kickstarter trade thread or if we should wait on that?

And all signs of its existence were purged from the eyes of mortal men. It's entirely possible the people railing against phantoms in that thread aren't quite so crazy as they seem.

 

Or maybe they were.

Has there even been a single mini in that time that nobody has complained about? Only contender I can think of is the george zombie. Everybody seems to like that one.

I like all of the new sculpts........especially if Numenera is included. was game night with the husband so i only got to mention numenera once earlier today. :P just trying to keep it in the back of Bryans mind....incase theres a sticky note for it...move it forward....make it tso!

I don't know about this... I have bad memories of my cavalry stretch goal being bumped off the map by a licensed property. I don't think I could take it again.

By the end of the thread there was still some residual bitter grumbling, as if the critics pilloried throughout the thread had actually existed. But given the evidence of the thread itself, there was nothing -- nothing! -- as severe as that one first post.

 

It was a very interesting thread to reread thoroughly.

 

But I fear the truth of it has become mythologized since it petered out (a year ago this very day).

I think what's missing from the thread here on the forums is the torrent of comments that were made through kickstarter itself. I wasn't a forum member back then, and I do remember some of the nastier comments made. Honestly, once conversation starts going that direction, I start to tune out since I don't like conflict so much.

 

After reading this, I went back to the kickstarter update (#45) and read through some of those. It might help contextualize the response here on the threads. I believe that you can find some of the pilloried critics there. You could also find them in the comments thread there, but it would be much harder to find.

 

I hadn't realized that Talin left the conversation at the time, but I also remember when he was active in the comments. I liked it when he was there, but understand why he left. His participation (along with others) added to my enjoyment of the kickstarter, which ultimately led me to these forums.

 

Overall, I like the forums much better. It's a more level headed place to be. For which I thank you all!

And boy, there were a lot of confirmations today! Way different than last time. I kind of like the "cannot confirm or deny" line, but all the chatter today had me rummaging through the reaper website to figure out what was to come.

 

Now, if only I had the money to get more add ons! :)

I think they're occupied posing for pictures with Sir Forscale. Either that or they're getting their makeup done by Martin (after which they'll pose for pictures with Sir Forscale).
