Well, I backed. But with serious trepidation. Debating starting a new thread for this.

 

Reaper offered free shipping to Canada last time, and it was a very major contributor to my backing their project when every one else wanted to charge an arm and a leg. I have no idea what "Actual Shipping Charges" are, since I only ever order from Reaper when (surprise) I qualify for free shipping.

 

At the very least, I would like Reaper to amend their shipping to a fixed price. I'll pay +$10 just to ship, but they must realise that the benefit of backing this project will whittle away to nothing if I end up paying a ridiculous shipping charge. At this point, I'm better off waiting for Bones to retail, then getting free shipping on my "Over $35" order.

 

I've backed, but will likely pull my backing unless this changes.

 

 

are they saying Canada has to pay the same as Australia etc? I've seen others give a discounted price but that kickstarter doesn't let them distinguish.

with the increase in USPS this year I wouldn't be surprised if we in the great white north have to pay something..I just hope it isn't as much as other continents.

Well, the first project ended up being $324.99 for retail vs. $100 (really $75 without sophie) so even if shipping was twice the cost of the vampire pledge, it would still be cheaper than retail.

To any Canadian, or non continental Bones collector, If you want to skip the shipping charge have your order shipped to me. Then we could throw a party we everyone comes to collect.

I put up a $100 'placeholder' pledge. I'm going to wait until the thing gets closer to the end before I up it. Hopefully, I see something that really catches my eye.

 

Early bird? Because if so, don't anybody do that. I came in with 2 remaining and by the time I got through checkout they were gone and I had to get in on wave 2.

No, I think they mean "actual shipping" to be the actual price they are charged by USPS/whichever company for the shipping. So Canada would be less than Aus... presumably.

The whole point of buying a bundle was that the cheap cost outweighed all the minis that I didn't want. Given that (so far) I want less than half of these, it doesn't make sense.

But knowing canadian shipping, it doesn't mean Canada will get them first.
