This dragon I really like the sculpt, but to be honest I dont think I would add one. Put simply its too big for the game table. Dragons like Cinder are lthe limit in size that I could see actually useing. For me personally.

 

EDIT: Thats why I never got the DND Icon dragons either specifically the red one. It was the size of a frickin cat....

Bleeding EU trade restricting politician wankers mumble mumble mumble.

Actually, I did not pay customs on the Bones KS, as importing toys is not subject to customs and they accepted them as such.

I only paid vat, which is only reasonable, as I would pay it on any transaction.

 

So, no EU trade restrictions on Bones, that would be local law.

 

 

And to be honest, thanks to the EU I saved lots of cash on imports from the UK.

am i the only one hoping that the next CE is a big block of warlord minis? they could really cover a huge number of basic troop types and do the alt sculpts as well. toss in a PDF and warlord gains thousands of players in a year. it would be a great "theme" IHO, and while warlord has gotten some good minis and proxies and stuff, there is still very little in the way of "troops" available for all the factions. I'm not buying in to this KS very big (i'll buy what i need at retail, when i need it), but that could get a chunk of cash from me.

Nope. Why? Because all the cool cavalry minis are Warlord. Bear cav, lizard cav, Cyclops cav. Wait...CYCLOPS CAVALRY?

I would rather that not be a seperate thing I want that stuff in the core...but if it end up that way I hope its strictly infantry and the like. So you're not alone.

I am a long time painter but am new to Bones/Reaper. I just joined the kickstarter II. Does anyone have a higher resolution image or images of the mini's in the new Kickstarter. I have found a few combing through reapermini.com but that takes a long time.

Hello Rich. I was kind of the opposite. Long time gamer but never painted anything smaller than a wall. Bones1 kickstarter got me started!

I don't normally worry about stuff like this but is it possible to take the game store pro.con discussion to another thread? I'm just concerned that anyone coming into this thread looking for info on Bones II KS is going to have a hard time finding anything on that topic.

 

As far as the latest reveal I think I'll be going in for the Core Expansion #1 - there is enough stuff there I want that it just makes sense financially to jump in. I want all of the big monsters in it as well as the mushroom men, barrow wights and cultists. The rest I'm sure I can find a use for. Of course that is assuming they hit the goal but really I'm looking at anything under the 2 million mark as a forgone conclusion as being in.

 

The next goal I'm a little less excited about - Verocithrax looks really different from other dragons in the Reaper line to the point where I'm just not interested in him. Not saying it isn't a good sculpt or anything it just isn't my cuppa.

I'm highly tempted by the expansion and really like the mushroom men! Right now, that and the gelatenous cube are on my really want to pledge extra for.

 

As for Verocitrhax, I really like the sculpt, but recognize it might not be everyone's favorite style. Reminds me of the jabberwock, which I also really like.

Maybe when they show up in a year I'll say something like "oh I forgot to tell you?" Better to ask forgiveness then permission perhaps?

I just told my husband - "I just want to go in for the $1, just for the updates, and we can decide later how much we'll back" Which quickly turned into "I did the $100 because they're doing shipping waves." and then "Look at this awesome gelatinous cube!" and it's snowballing....

Hah! That'd never work on my wife she says, "You have too much $7!^ already!" to me, what she doesn't understand is that we can never have too many BONES!!!!
