Yeah. I suspect that was pure trolling.

 

Unfortunately it really resonated and upset a lot of people. It caused, I think, some mistrust and bitterness that lingers to this day and hurts the community.

 

And it seems to have really hurt Talin, who has done such beautiful design work and didn't deserve any of that.

Talin would probably love to hear your voice of support, Pingo. it takes hundreds of positive voices to drown one negative one. A PM via these boards would do wonders.

How would one contact him? If he did the cloud giantess I would like to compliment him myself. My mom and I both liked the picture, but when we got it we both fell in love with her. We then had a fight over who got to paint her. I lost sadly and got the male instead. I'm trying to bribe my friends into purchasing her as my Christmas present from the group.

The detachable bases on these guys has me wondering if you can get enough detail out of Bonesium to create thematic bases. A bag of resin bases from someone like Secret Weapon costs $10 for 10 bases, so if Bones can economically create 40c thematic bases or base inserts, they'd garner some attention.

I am, on my best days, only a craftsman in the things I do. I am no artist. Because of that, I cannot imagine what it must feel like to pour your passion into creating artwork (that it seems, as an artist, you are never satisfied with as being good enough), only to have someone not just be critical, but actually spout such acrimony and vitriol over.

Reaper has mentioned that (bases) being a possibility a couple of times, but has said they don't have any concrete plans.

Just use the message feature on this board. I believe his username is Talin. I wrote as well, because I liked her a lot and have been saving her to paint later, when I have more skill, so i HOPE I sent it to the right user, lol!

"Talin" is Patrick Keith. So yes, he has sculpted quite a few from KS1, and KS2.

Alright. I am very happy. Most of those are minis I have been after for some time. I really despise not having a lot of money to spare frequently. Makes it really hard to expand my collection.
