Given the variety of choices so far, I'm starting to wonder if a shop credit option with price reduced by a % wouldn't be a good idea...
Contribute to the campaign, get a rebate, get exactly what you want. Win-win-win. No?

No, I think they mean "actual shipping" to be the actual price they are charged by USPS/whichever company for the shipping. So Canada would be less than Aus... presumably.

 

 

Yeah, I think it was all the taxes and other stupid penalties that prevent reaper stuff from getting to Canada in an orderly fashion.

I'm sure it will be a lot cheaper than Australia. I hear they have a 400% tax on gaming supplies and the shipping thereof.

 

But at least it means they can buy whatever they want this time around. Didn't they have a five item limit and then $25 each additional item last time?

 

Australia only pays customs fees on shipments valued over $1000 and it was only $25 extra if you got more than 5 of the same item, so it was pretty damn good value for shipping.

It looks like reaper has broken kickstarter. I haven't gotten an update emailed after number 2.

 

The kickstarter is capped at 6500 backers. At minimum pledge, that's $600,500 only.

 

At an average of double pledge, that's $1.2M, which is probably where this will settle.

 

They are adding more pledge levels as "waves" fill up.

They're adding on new pledge levels with later dates when previous ones fill up. It started with a 4500 cap so that Wave 3 pledge level is already a new one

They are adding more pledge levels for shipping phases as they become necessary. It started with only room for 4500 backers, then they added Wave 3 with another 2000 when Wave 1 filled up.

It's not really capped there, they will add another 2k when they get close to 6k backers, it will be wave 4 and probably have a November delivery date. I don't expect the project to actually hit $7.8 million, but I bet kicktraq will be predicting $25 million by the end of the day.
