ouch ah it hurts....$10 for the hatchlings....

But they're so nice, aren't they? Heck, I added in a set, and I already have a copy of the storm dragon hatchling painted up on my shelf.

They are nice but Im gettin 4 additional sets. I was surprised they were $10 considering their size but thats not stopping me.

Is there a way to view who designed any mini in the store? Or the original art?

It is pretty rare that the concept art for a model gets attached in the database.

Which is a shame. I do love looking at concept art and comparing it to finished figures.

Ok. A greg botch style list of the bones was requested earlier. I'm too busy (read lazy) to find the particular post.

I made one here: http://www.bones.kgdcraftermath.com/

I've got a game to run now, but feel free to PM me if I screwed something up.

edit: Found out Greg's doing one too, see it here: http://greg.botch.com/bones2/

His post came some time today, when I was working on mine, so I didn't see it earlier. :)

Very nice, I love how these things put the bones prices in their proper perspective. Hill Giants in metal, $44.99 and $38.49. I'm getting them BOTH for $10. Yes please.

The shipping calculator is interesting. To ship to Canada, a vampire alone adds $50 to the price, or 50%. Vampire plus core expansion one adds $54.44, or ~36%. Buying everything currently unlocked costs $377, with shipping of $69.40, or ~19%. *sigh* Guess I'm buying everything. Does anyone know where I can sell a kidney?

Ok, I realize I might be the only one stumbling over this... lol... but...

30 minis "core set" (we're not talking pledge levels here like "ghoul" or whatnot) is $60 = $2/mini

Same 30 minis with EVERYTHING purple $100, what're we at now 145 minis = $0.68/mini

Seems really disjointed, like being penalized for adding-on the core set. I really like the core set, but, well - ugh.

Does Core include the 24 "bonus figures"? That might more sense cost-wise, but I'm hoping they are separate...

The extra items from the core generally seem pretty close to what I'd expect at retail, with maybe a 20% discount. Except for swamp things which seems like a really really good deal.

Question for the kickstarter-- I got in with a dollar holler for Wave 7. I know already I'm after a few add ons. Should I up my pledge now, meagers as it is, to help with the overall goal? Will it make a difference?

Yes. ALWAYS UP YOUR PLEDGE. Pledge more money, I want free stuff :)

We can count that form signed in triplicate.

What I tell you three times is true.

In the dark

In the dark

In the dark

... are Grue

We could take it one step further into frothing fervor:

Grueblins. Half Grue, Half Goblin. They are their own worst nightmares!

$275 cost

$42.48 Shipping.

$317.48 total.

$400.00 Pledge.

I don't know what's coming, but I know I'm going to want it.

I'm scared to tell my wife... But then again, she IS spending 800 dollars on a tattoo tomorrow.

I pledged for the $100, but it is entirely possible that a $1 plus selected add-ons will get me what I want, and the loss in bargain value will be somewhat offset by the reduction in postage.

Is pledging $1 then grabbing half the core set "legit", and can I do it in pledge manager or do I need to move to a $1 pledge now? Wave order doesn't worry me.

EDIT: I assume the bonus 24 are only available with the core 30? That... might change things.

My theory is this, if everyone adds what they think they will want to pledge now, more cool stuff gets unlocked, and more people get tempted in, thereby unlocking more stuff.

I'm currently pledged at almost double my current picks + shipping. I have complete faith in Reaper's ability to make sure I don't have to start picking multiples (although there are a few I'm tempted to).

I'm definitely going to be getting extra swamp things. Can't have a Bullywug party with only 4, and every story should have 3 trolls.

In for an extra swamp things myself, but not for those reasons. On a completely unrelated note, anyone know of any mini weapon sprue that includes 2 sai and at least one nunchaku?

Already pledged for about double the amount of what I'm sure to spend.

Reaper's missing the bet. They could create a new series in wake of the awesome show that just ended. About an accountant who gets the crazy idea to create the ultimate plasti-crack line so he can leave a legacy (and maybe some money) to his family. It can show how difficult it is to break into the market, and the turf wars involved.

[br]eaking ones! It'd be all the rage!

Oh, wait! It's been done. Never mind....

But some of us can tell you who did the original concept art. Talin is responsible for a big chunk of it including almost the entire Warlord line. Wayne Reynolds did some and some of it is from Ron's stick figure drawings. Several of the sculptors do their own concept art when Ron just throws out a guideline (Gene Van Horne for one).

You... you do know that Reaper was started by accountants, right? Because that's kinda eerie.
