Maybe I should go nap some more.

 

EDIT: Actually, I did something more useful than take another nap, I upped my pledge another $10. Can never have too many skellies! :D

I wonder how much of the gain is people adding stuff to play with the nifty pledge calculator and how much is just ROW adding in their shipping.

I tweaked my pledge upwards partly from the pledge tool and partially from not really doing much with it since the first batch of add-ons.

 

I'm also in for two of the cases hoping that the foam is a bit better than last time (IIRC, they changed vendors).

I think a lot of people were surprise by shipping costs, maybe for the better. Since it suddenly jumped when the calculator came out. So either everyone upped their pledge with their shipping money, or they saw that they could grab a few extra add-ons because shipping would be cheaper than thought.

 

I know I was happy with shipping cost(didn't add to my pledge) but did add an extra set of Sylvan Creatures.

Eh, I'm used to TLAs, so I parsed it out pretty quickly.

For me, as a Rest Of the World backer,

 

Seeing the shipping cost enabled me to make the call between using a 3rd party to reship the goods or not, and to finalise the portion of my budget that was allocated towards shipping / customs. Which meant that I could up my pledge from my placeholder $100 to my budget of $230. Shipping was cheaper than expected, but that really didn't impact my total budget at all: just meant that the decision on how I was going to ship stuff was made a lot easier.

I want to up my pledge, but after reading all the "got into an earlier wave" posts I'm afraid of losing my EB spot. You see, currently I have it on my debit card with the intent of not spending more than my cash on hand. If I spend the time on Amazon to switch payment to my credit card and my spot gets taken I'll cry.

 

Decisions, decisions.

I'ld look for myself but I'm not about to read back through 187 pages of this thread to find out so I'm for sure not patient enough to read the 20k+ comments over on KS.

1.55 mil is just around the corner! There was some speculation in the comments this morning that they would announce the second core set expansion and another stretchgoal simultaneously (Someone from reaper said they weren't sure about the COLORS (<-plural) of the next stretchgoal.) It sounds pretty farfetched, but if it happened I would swoon.

Reaper has talked about "Future Core Expansions," having a more unified theme, though whether they're talking about future expansions within this kickstarter remains to be seen. The naming of Core Expansion #1 also seemed to indicate the possibility of more.

 

I want to see many, many more core expansions. It's a considerable cost increase to the kickstarter pledge, but you also get a TON more content. And content is what I'm looking for. Little regard for cost, here.

Reaper's missing the bet. They could create a new series in wake of the awesome show that just ended. About an accountant who gets the crazy idea to create the ultimate plasti-crack line so he can leave a legacy (and maybe some money) to his family. It can show how difficult it is to break into the market, and the turf wars involved.

I have an EB spot, and have tweaked my pledge twice now. I don't think you lose your spot changing your pledge. There was something official from Reaper to that same effect in the comments as well.

Don't worry about it. Reaper was mistaken about how Kickstarter works - upping your pledge won't reset your pledge level. I upped my Wave 3 pledge by $130 earlier today, no trouble at all.
