I too would like to see not-Displacer Beasts in translucent purple.

 

As I said (approximately) in another thread, I'd rather see all the translucents be done in clear PVC. And I'd really like a clear option for all Bones figures.

 

If you're going to make them opaque, it doesn't matter what color they're cast in. If you want translucents, it's pretty easy to pick your color if they're clear, but you can't turn a fireball into a translucent waterball if you start with orange plastic. But it's pretty easy to use Clear paints or inks to tint clear to the color you would prefer.

 

To answer the SKU-proliferation issues: Just add a C for clear and you might even be able to leave it as a NIC option. Or heck, even offer it at Reapercon using Thomas and the in-country molds.

I'm glad Kit is getting a bit of sleep, he deserves it (as do the rest of the Reaperites). So far the only issue I've had with this KS is trying to find people who want to buy a kidney, so I can go all in, and get 9 of everything.

 

Seriously though, I would love to see a certain Runelord make an appearance before this is over. I know a lot of people find the PF minis to be a mixed bag (some like them, some don't), but I was a bit sad when he didn't make the cut of PF villains. However, we got Tar-Baphon, so I've got no complaints. And really Karzoug wasn't evil he was just misunderstood.

 

I was just thinking.. Kit needs to be awake too? Doesn't Bryan usually do the updates? But now the Pledge Manager is up, I guess they both have to be on their toes each time we reach a stretch goal!

 

On the topic of shipping, from the update from the KS estimating shipping, I had worked out how much I was likely up for when the manager came out and was pretty much on the ball with the lowest amount (I was thinking $65-$80 and it actually comes to $68.19). The shipping shoots up about $14 if I add a case, so thats going on the backburner until I see what else comes out and how adding a case after that affects the shipping rates. This means of my $400 pledge, I have actually over-pledged by $2.81... until Verocithrax is added to it, that is.

It's hardly Bryan or Kit's fault that we keep unlocking stretch goals in the middle of the night, Texa time. All we need to do is find a way to sustain them without food, sleep or human contact for a couple of weeks, and things should work out just fine. ::):

Do we have confirmation of a Paypal option? Because that may be the only way I can get in on this KS.

We have been told that we can increase post Kickstarter, but realize that those increases will not count towards unlocks. As for buying in for people that aren't in the KS at all, I have not seen that mentioned.

Anybody else surprised at the $60 price tag for the core set? no? just me? :*(

I expected about $50. I have been expecting that I would either only add on an extra thing or two from the core set or I would get a second set. We will see where things end up with add ons.

 

 

I pretty sure ReaperBryan said that the shipping cost for the core set won´t change, so I guess they are counting all the strech goals in that one.

 

I meant that I plan to buy much(most, maybe all) of the add ons and if I spend too much on that, I will not have enough for a second Core Set.

That is very true (and I'm glad Bryan gets to sleep this time round, we had him up at all hours last KS). Now, 9am there was 11:30pm where I am, and I was thinking "Gee, we should get an update soon, its after midnight here." Then I realised... we just turned the clocks forward on Sunday for daylight savings. I'm going to go sleep with my phone again now. Stoopid daylight savings...

Good. I'm sure I'd know this if I read the KS comments, but they tend to make me feel... agitated.

 

Edit: got the update as soon as I posted this. Liking the next core addition. WERESHARK! now I can go to sleep.
