Ok, now I'm getting angry. Congress has 14 days to re-open the government or I'm going to miss out on Bones II and there are some good looking minis being shown off so far. I don't suppose Reaper takes government IOU's in lieu of cash.

Don't look in that big box on the floor, it's none of your business how many Bones I've finished painting from the last kickstarter.... ok, it rhymes with hero, but that is all I'm saying.

I feel for you Aaron. Thankfully in my case the shutdown proved useful. I needed my SSN card to finish off my application for college. The shutdown allowed them to approve it without that. It means I now I have my laptop for school. I have to get used to it though. Never had a Mac in my life and now I have a Macbook Pro.

On a side note I am very eager to get to the new goal we have. Bases are always useful and I want that wolf in the core. I have him in metal, but really would like him in bones as I wanted him for myself. I also am looking forward to both the cat in the core and the lions. I will be painting up whole packs and prides. That will be most useful.

From the first KS I am making fairly good progress. I have finished Ebonwrath and quite a few other minis. I wonder if it is too late to put minis on my list of things to buy for my presents. I really need more as I might be out by december or january.

I need to say, I LOVE the direction they went with the bases. They can be used on the flat side to look like PF/WOTC simple black rounds, or flipped and used for flocking and extra detail. They're also some of the only bases I have EVER SEEN, that are round, and lipped, AND FIT INSIDE A 1' GRID. I've been using Warmahordes bases for ages, but my DM hates that they don't quite fit the grid table we use to play. Considering the only similar product is from Secret Weapon, and like 1$ each, I'm really thrilled about this design.

Edit: Now I just need my Happy Seppuku stamps!!

EXACTLY! Round, lipped, fit in the grid! I've been baffled by how impossible it has been to find that and now I'm getting some from Reaper! This is a stretch goal I'm going to have to up my pledge for!

Edited to add: Also, I really want to buy some right now, so that more of my kickstarter 1 minis will be on the same bases as my kickstarter 2 minis will be. Uh, also in 2" round please!

The only reaper minis I have actually wanted to base needed 2" rounds. I have occasionally wanted to base other miniatures for stability purposes. Im going to have a 400+ minis, and consider painting them enough of a herculean task.

(Im nearing the half way point of KS1, but even so...) I'm not eager to delve into the world of decorative basing on top of that.

Still I'll take the bases, I'm glad other people like them.

Now the sea hag and the Were-shark! that's exciting. I have wanted one since we ran into the village of weresharks in that pathfinder AP. Well they never proved they weren't weresharks, My PC was pretty sure, it explained the gnawed bones better than anything he could think of.

I don't use bases, but it's a nice touch.

Oh yeah? Then what's that awesomely painted thing under your Kaladrax? :poke:

A Frisbee?

That's actually not a terrible idea for a reasonably priced giant base. It's not like Kaladrax will fit on the standard 6-12cm options.

In a conversation where Baphomet and I were pleading the case for Anhurians, Ron first asked how many there were, and then said:

Ron Hawkins less than a minute ago

Yesterday we got in 5 new models to be included in this Kickstarter (if the goals are met). One is a solo model, and the other four come in pairs of two.

He's... he's really good at this teasing thing.

Also:

Ron Hawkins less than a minute ago

And the minis in pairs are sort of "before and after" miniatures.
