I wonder if it will be easy to find circular magnets to place in the lipped area of the base and the miniatures on top of the flat side. Could make for easy storage. And I finally caught up!!!

For the Verocithrax skeptics, do check out images of it painted before writing it off.

I was totally uninspired when I saw it. Seemed spindly, unappealing, and decided I was definitely not going to be adding it to my order.

Well after seeing these, I'll probably wind up getting two if not three:

Now it being lean actually has me excited about it's potential to be more re-posable than thicker dragon sculpts after a boiling water bath.

I just registered to say this:

I would love a core expansion tailored to new collectors. It could consist of a bunch of iconic miniatures that are a must-have for those of us who are new to the hobby. I'm thinking of a good number of goblins, kobolds, orcs, human mercenaries, human archers, skeletons and zombies, and maybe some trolls, ghouls, ghasts. A 'starter set' of sorts!

I know this would not be very attractive to many of you, as most probably already have a good number of those creatures already, but it would be great for attracting completely new customers! Speaking as someone who can count the miniatures he owns on his two hands, this would be an instant buy for me. It also wouldn't matter much of this expansion contains some duplicates from the first Bones kickstarter, so it could be quite cheap for Reaper in terms of new molds that have to be created.

Thanks to everyone who has been posting KS Comment summaries. It's a chore to wade through that stuff sometimes, so getting the Reader's Digest is awesome.

"No new cavalry" gives me hope for the 4 horsemen. Pestilence, War, Famine and Death, to fit in with the Halloween theme. Plus a few Bear Cavalry...because why not.

You forgot the Plague horsemen. Reaper made 5. Pestilence, Plague, War, Famine and Death.

Translations are not sure if it was meant Pestilence or Plague, both good be the same, but Plague could be much more.

I think that a before and after with a mimic makes sense and would also be cool. Might need additional treasure chests for that. Other thoughts are an adventurer and a zombie or gost version of the same character. I expect a slow weekend but anticipate the next unlock this weekend. Hopefuly we don't have to wait for Monday for the next reveal but I know well how much it sucks when you don't get any days off from work.

Well, if what someone posted above is true and the bases are made in U.S.A. that is awesome.

Heck, I'm just glad to see they will be U.S. customary 1 inch bases rather than metric 25mm. I'm more a fan of 1" 1.5" and 2" bases than 25mm 40mm and 50mm bases.

Are any of the ratfolk female? My friend plays as one, and she's been using one of the rats from the first bones kickstarter.

It looks like they are all new sculpts, so I'm not sure.

If you look closely (the pictures aren't the clearest), the rat sorcerer might be (top most one on the Oh Rats! graphic). Anyone else have thoughts on this?
