For the Verocithrax skeptics, do check out images of it painted before writing it off.

I was totally uninspired when I saw it. Seemed spindly, unappealing, and decided I was definitely not going to be adding it to my order.

Well after seeing these, I'll probably wind up getting two if not three:

Now it being lean actually has me excited about it's potential to be more re-posable than thicker dragon sculpts after a boiling water bath.

Still not excited.

I looks like he is trying to sneak.

Thanks to those extracting the delightful teasing Reaper gems from the comments. Like others, I find the general tenor of backers comments utterly soul destroying and can't go over there. It ruins the fun.

Verocithrax is indeed incredibly dynamic and unique as a sculpt -- it is great that they are giving people a chance to appreciate something that isn't just standing there and preening.

I am loving this Kickstarter -- it isn't like the first one and has it's own feel and identity and that's keeping things exciting and new for me. I just fattened my pledge to an obscene level and will no doubt do so again. Just give me a reason!

P.S. The complaints about cost and shipping have provoked me to do something I never did before here, which is use the ignore function. I really didn't like doing it but couldn't handle the continuous onslaught. No offense meant. I hope that stuff just stays over there now.

I'm still hoping they add more Warlord minis but... So far (including the expansion pack) there are 3 factions that can put together a nice skirmish group (4 mini's + 1 Heavy) Reven, Nefsokar, and Kargir. Elves have 5 if you count the centaurs but no heavy.

Sure, you could proxy in enough appropriate looking figures to make 5 for most all the factions but maybe I am a little OCD because I like the officials.

No trading.. That's too bad, it would've been nice to do it again on the forum.

Anyone know of or use a respectable medium to do trades for when we finish with this KS we can get together there and do our trading?

BoardGameGeek.com / RPGGeek.com has a trading system baked right into the site itself.

Allows for the sending of offers, accepting, declining, countering, and once accepted by both parties you can mark shipped with automatic notification sent to the recipient with tracking info, etc.

@Slendertroll,

You asked a classic logic riddle question. If the are two sets of before and after minis and you ask if one is the mimic then yes Ron is correct in that the not mimic mini is not the mimic. Which still leaves the question of is the other set is the mimic. A better question would or could be " If one set of before and after minis is not a mimic, is the other set a mimic?"

Dammit, you're right! If this is Ron's game, I'm never going to stop laughing.

Right, the "Reaper should cut prices because they made $60,000 out of the last one, and that was ALL CREAM BABY" people have hit the KS comments again. So I'm off, having pointed out that as far as we can know without inside business info, that was the total margin of error between Reaper and mortgaging their houses. It's 1.6%, roughly. If anyone thinks that's a margin of safety, they need to stay far, far away from investment.

I have not vented. I could, though. Louis CK on the subject of flying comes to mind.

I made the comment to which you replied, but I probably was not clear since what you are quoting is very different from what I've written and intended. Since I don't want to annoy people here, feel free to contact me by PM if you want to discuss this further. Otherwise, sorry to have upset you, that was not the intent.
