I have to say I agree with unidentifiable - I'm in the UK and the "Actual Shipping" sounds very ominous.

 

Another friend of mine said he felt the ROW customers were treated 2nd class last time, while I disagreed with him (I expected my Bones to take an age to arrive) this suggests we could be lumbered with a huge shipping bill, on top of customs (which was £25 for me, which seemed reasonable given all the swag and because amusingly 8 metal minis from the states cost £13 to import). Which in turns lends credence to his theory that last Kickstarter the ROW was a big drain on Reaper's resources, and that Reaper are hoping the ROW customer-base will stay away if they charge more for shipping.

 

I'm not pledging to this until I get a rough estimate of overseas shipping to the UK. If it is say £50 then there's little point. And I do like me that Kraken.

Well, I backed. But with serious trepidation. Debating starting a new thread for this.

 

Reaper offered free shipping to Canada last time, and it was a very major contributor to my backing their project when every one else wanted to charge an arm and a leg. I have no idea what "Actual Shipping Charges" are, since I only ever order from Reaper when (surprise) I qualify for free shipping.

 

At the very least, I would like Reaper to amend their shipping to a fixed price. I'll pay +$10 just to ship, but they must realise that the benefit of backing this project will whittle away to nothing if I end up paying a ridiculous shipping charge. At this point, I'm better off waiting for Bones to retail, then getting free shipping on my "Over $35" order.

 

I've backed, but will likely pull my backing unless this changes.

Nope. They are gathered around that table grumbling about how they will have to spend half of this years bonus on A535 thanks to the sore backs. The other half will be spent skiing in Aspen.

Reaper is knocking this out of the park. It's like the whole wish thread is coming to life!

When Mouslings showed up before I could finish breakfast, I knew that they cared about me. Like, on a personal level.

 

 

They did it because I'm ambivalent about Mouslings. They wanted to see if I would by them if they were Bones.

 

And of course I will. They're BONES!

They definitely took the suggestions and popular choices to heart when making their picks for this project. I am optimistic for centaurs.
