Bones Kickstarter #2 Discussion

I would expect the artists to be there, showcasing their creations - both sculpts and painted models. We will have some of the new model out and avialable for in-person viewing. We will have painting for attendees, and food and Ron and myself at computers trying to manage the crazy, all while the tallies are counted on the big screens for everybody to watch! There is going to be room for board or card games, if you like, and generally just a fun day of hanging out

Any details on the party I heard about for the last day? Would love to know more so I can hopefully make plans to be out there and celebrate the final day of the KS funding.

 

Last year there were snacks, cake, and Bones to paint. This year, it is also coinciding with their artist conference event, so they might have completely different plans this time around. I, for one, will be there to find out.

I'm not sure what you mean about still waiting for this one? I'm just checking if you mean you're waiting for it to be available via metal in retail, because it is available. I realize you might have meant waiting for one you ordered or a replacement you need to be mailed to you, but just wanted to double check.

 

I originally wanted them to make one in Legendary Encounters back when that line was new. And they previewed her as being in the line and then canceled her. So Im hopeing she will be made into Bones atleast. thats what I ment by waiting. I know shes available in metal but since Bones have come out Ive been reluctant to get new metal simply because of the price difference.

 

EDIT: Also if you drop bones they dont shatter like metals do and shes I think 3 or 4 peices...I cant remember its been so ong

I will make plans to head up there and enjoy checking stuff out and saying hi. Is it ok for my 3 1/2 year old girl to tag along? She loves my Vampire box set and enjoys our trips over to Madness in Plano.
