I think it might actually be "good guys" - a bunch of knights, angels, and other typically good creatures. Maybe not 100% good... But I think the catagories will tend toward 'good' characters, at least.

At first, I was debating two sets of 2e, because it promising & I want to be able to do good and evil knights... I want at least two devas to paint, so if I have the cash, I'll probably get two now. And extra anhurians? Ngggggggh....

And I actually will get the E3 just for that TARDIS. I don't need armored spacemen...

Unless I do a Doctor Who-themed game, in which case they will populate my spacebase.

Think about it - shipping crates, weapons lockers, army men... that gives me plenty of fodder for a Whovian game. And Angels... So many possibilities! I need more! SO MANY IDEAS!

Any suggestions for system? I usually do fantasy in 3.5, but this might actually convince me to go sci-fi. Reaper, you sly dogs, you...

Actually, the Doctor Who RPG by Cubicle 7 Entertainment is a very nice system for playing Who.

Oh yeah! And Europeans LOVE angels! There are angel statues all over the place on that continent! :P

Weeeeell, the BBC really tries to change that, I would say...

1) Bigger monsters

2) Groups of multipurpose fantasy minis

The idea was that the later expansions might be themed, because Exp1 was kind of a mix of random stuff and of unusual grouped stuff like Egyptian. If the later expansions are only as themed as Exp1 (eg, "multipurpose groups" compared to "bigger monsters") that isnt really the sort of theme that was implied.

Right now the theme appears to be "What people have been begging for that is not a Terrasque". I know that the current items in Exp 2 are some of ones I have seen as for the most both here and in the comments section. This makes sense and while Angels are not high on my want list, they are for others. On the bright side there are still lots of unrevealed slots so still time for Cavalry mooks and dwarven mooks and elven mooks and halfling mookies (really small mooks only qualify as mookies) and some more generic towns folk like a half-orc baker or gnome cooper. Female mooks would also be really cool prehaps with swappable heads or per my wife, swappable hairstyles.

Okay, but I'm storing them separately.

To do otherwise is to wind up with a drawer full of little imps.

And just what is wrong with Imps, little goblin?

N-n-nothing!

Did I read Talin right about a potential honorary goblin?

Use it for voodoo curse magic when I displease you. I suspect most would be acquired for that purpose.

I had a Reaper dream last night. Reaper accidentally(?) revealed all its Stretch goals, some of which were only drawings of possible figures.

They added 4 dragons to the core set, which would all fit on 1"x2" inch bases, including a Sea dragon & oriental dragon.

2 man -sized giant squids.Also a pack/swarm of wolves.

Add On (LARGE) figures included an air ship made out of a dragon skeleton, a huge sea serpent, hydras with both 8 and 10 heads a tiamat, and Gauth.

There was also a Dragonfly spelljammer/air ship & a steam-punky Zeppelin.

I knew I was going to have to add everything but the hydras, cause really who needs that many heads?

Well, Gauth is available for a stretch goal. We have no idea where his sticky note is, but he was confirmed to be on one.

A little pre-housekeeping requests (as I am wishing and hoping):

Please review the forum rules and play nice.

Please make every effort to avoid sequential posting, it makes life so much more difficult for those of us who have to clean up after you.

You can always go back and edit your posts to add the thought that comes to you after you hit that post button.

Inserting large graphics or videos are tough for people on weaker connections (EDIT: phones], please try to limit those.

You can always reply without quoting, or you can edit the quote down to less than all and keep your posts smaller.

Since we have crossed the 300 page mark and are heading into the home stretch, I'd like to say I appreciate the cooperation received this time around. Yall have made this smoother than last year. Please keep at it.

Please be aware of the sequential posts and large quotes, those drive the page count higher faster. I suspect they are worse when you are posting from your phone and not your keyboard.

thanks, gang
