Yeah, if I'm just checking in I use Internet Exploder on my xbox. It boots faster than the laptop. This has... limited functionality. That's why sometimes I quote a big box and sometimes I snip it. With the xbox, there's no highlight or cut n' paste feature. Leaves me with the choice of either quoting all of it, or spending ten minutes deleting the snippable bits one letter at a time.

 

Although I have discovered, on smaller bits where I can do that, that the click sounds for deletion if you hold down the x button actually sound like a weird wood percussion tune.

That pretty much sums up my thoughts, plus, you know, lets not let our minis reproduce. Which is why I keep the male and female ones in different drawers (not really, it's an organization technique, and for some reason I have a lot of pretty girls in awesome outfits and a lot of grumpylooking male dwarves...).

 

Tiamatcrab! It's kinda neat but it seems sacraligeous at the same time... just not sure.

Please be aware of the sequential posts and large quotes, those drive the page count higher faster. I suspect they are worse when you are posting from your phone and not your keyboard.

Large quotes do not alter the page count, since pages are measured in posts. (I think 10 or 15 posts per page.) They are annoying to scroll past though!

Anyway, a few nights ago I actually did have a dream about a kaiju attacking a cargo ship with shipping containers on it. I cannot verify that the kaiju was trying to get its supply of Bones.

my hope for a warlord CE is dying.

 

At this point I think we are better off hoping for a separate Warlord Kickstarter possibly with a rulebook update. I think this may Reaper's longer term plan given how few models have been converted to bones for almost half the factions.

 

9 factions have fewer than 5 models in Bonesium:

[bSG: 2 / Darkspawn: 3 / Koborlas: 2 / Kragmarr: 1 / Mercs: 4 / Overlords: 3 / Razig: 2 / Reptus: 3 / Sisterhood: 4]

 

And only 1 faction has 10 or more [ Kargir: 11]

I would get in on a Warlord Kickstarter. I was going to make Reven & Kargir armies since there are so many in the kickstarter.

What can we expect out of expansion #4?

I had a Reaper dream last night. Reaper accidentally(?) revealed all its Stretch goals, some of which were only drawings of possible figures.

 

They added 4 dragons to the core set, which would all fit on 1"x2" inch bases, including a Sea dragon & oriental dragon.

2 man -sized giant squids.Also a pack/swarm of wolves.

 

Add On (LARGE) figures included an air ship made out of a dragon skeleton, a huge sea serpent, hydras with both 8 and 10 heads a tiamat, and Gauth.

There was also a Dragonfly spelljammer/air ship & a steam-punky Zeppelin.

 

I knew I was going to have to add everything but the hydras, cause really who needs that many heads?

 

Interesting. I dream of "dragon's fire.... and things that will bite." I love it when the Sandman enters my dreams.

I didn't even remember Talespinner sculpted Dungeon Dressing 2! Now that makes it even more awesome.

 

 

I am still planning on getting the HA tavern molds, AND trying to decide if I get 2-4 of Talespinner's molds, (on top of the 2 DF accessory sets coming to me in the mail soon^tm), AND buying more of Talespinner's stuff at retail next year.

 

Why I like these guys in Bonesium vs. the unlimited number I'll make in dental plaster, is I sometimes run games for young ones, and sometimes have young ones who want to play with my toys somewhat unsupervised when they come to visit. (I'm that kind of aunt.) The dental plaster while pretty sturdy for adult players who are handling my objects in my presence, but not sturdy enough for lending/cons where I'm not running the game myself/youngin's etc.

 

I have designed a few pieces for my HA dungeon that like to break apart if they topple. It doesn't permanently break the piece, but it requires re-glueing at a later point. Now this is a bit of a design flaw in the pieces, but the way they are currently designed work very well for modularity. So I don't know if I will redesign them but in any case, I have enough to do, without needing to repair old pieces. So I'm in the market for nigh indestructible gaming pieces to use in these situations.

 

So in short, I love both HA tavern molds, and Dungeon Dressing II because they both have their uses. HA for my long term customized tavern project that I will only use for games I or my husband run (and likely only in my own house) and things in more indestructible plastic I can let relatives use at holidays or take with me to conventions.
