Yes, the balor has a flaming whip. The dude with the goat-face and sketchy wings seems to be a not-Orcus and appears to have a club-like object in one hand.

 

As for the Glabrezu, this mini is the first time I've looked at a representation of the description and thought it lived up to the hype. Even the glabby in the Infernal Minions KS was disappointing to me...it, like most of the glabbies I've seen, seemed more comic than terrifying. This thing in bones, though...that would frighten a PC.

Orcus is done in such a different style from reapers previous version I though perhaps it was just something else entirely...

That was due to too many hours spent on summer vacation mulling over monster manuals than was probably healthy for a developing young lady.

He's just fattening them up and getting them all relaxed, they won't see his attack coming until it's too late.

 

Yeah, I am definitely getting the Demon Lords in my order, had already counted them in on my total. They should be fun to paint up too.

I went a little overboard the last KS for a beginner painter and got the disapproving looks from the wife from THAT one. She doesn't even know about this one yet, so I'm sure I'm going to get a talking to soon enough... I have to be a bit restrained, but I just keep failing WILL saves and upping my pledge level. Reaper is just revealing too much awesome!

I still consider myself a beginner especially compared to all the amazing painters around here. I've done less than 20 so far, which reminds me I really need to get my butt in gear painting some more figures this weekend!

Ive sat here and thought about just how high this KS could earn. I honesly dont think its going to match KS 1. It has nothing to do with reaper or the models....I just simply think people just dont have as much money to spare this time around...I would love to see this explode to the 7 mil range but realistically 2.5 to 3 is all I see. I could be wrong and hopefully I am..I really dont think its going to explode in the last day like the last one did or atleast not as much.

I tend to think it'll end up right around $3.2 to $3.4 million. We'll steadily tick upwards, revealing more and more of the rewards then Reaper will pull the rabbits out of their hats like a Tarrasque, Gauth, Tiamat, or something else huge which none will be able to resist and we'll surge for the last day or two and jump over that $3m mark.

 

Now, I don't think we'll get much past the $3.4 million, but you never do know with these things, we could end up in the $5m area if enough people join us before the end. We are at like 13k backers right now right? What happens if we get up to 17k +? That'd easily jump us up quite a bit.

I've got some limited experience in predicting Kickstarters; I was within $10,000 of the final amount for the Shadowrun Returns one. And I'd be absolutely amazed if this one doesn't get to $6 million in the last couple of days.

 

The other point is this: you're looking at a Kickstarter that has pulled in more money per day than the first, and somehow that's convinced you it's going to flop on the last couple of days?

Thats going to be a tough climb I think but it would be awesome if we made it that far. I wonder if Reaper would really truly ever be prepared for it going that high. Is a year realistic?

Hello fellow Boners! First post here. Just wanted to hear if there has been any talk about the CAV Line getting Boned?

We saw some prototype CAV Bones quite some time back, but the hints we've been getting suggest a separate Kickstarter specifically for CAV if I recall correctly.

I think you'll have to wait for Bones 3 t0 see that. CAV would be much more niche.

OK - Let me weigh in on CAV so the argument can stop.

We sent 8 CAV models to China to have molds made. We got prototypes back. They're pretty good. We're pleased. We have plans on CAV in Bones, which should take the MSRP of the average CAV down from about $20 to about $5.

BUT - and I need to stress this - CAV is not intended at this time to be a part of this Kickstarter. IF/WHEN we decide to go forward with CAV Bones on a larger scale EITHER we will do it's own Kickstarter so that backers get the game, minis, terrain etc and don't have to share stretch goal space with all the stuff that we're doing here - OR reaper will push CAV Bones out slowly and gradually using the profits form the sales of our current and future product.

I was about to comment that neither of those models were "random", both had valid Fantasy RPG equivalents, and then I saw that Thes beat me to it.

On the subject of weird looking demon lords, the boar guy is a Nalfeshnees (formerly Type IV Demon), and the wolf demon is a Not-Glabrezu. Both of them have been in since 1st ed, so I'm liking that I got some awesome models for them! And in Bones!

 

Thes, seriosuly, I think you have listening devices in my office. Please come and remove them.
