So the new update is a Great old one. I know a number of people who will love this but its not really my thing. So that's $12 to put to something else later. I'm good with that. Still want a Pledge Troll mini.

Upgraded my secondary $1 pledge from Dec shipping to Wave 2 on Saturday and just now upgraded my core from Wave 2 to Early Bird!

Thank you to whoever it was that dropped their EB.

 

And Angels! And new reveal in CE2 coming up soon! And only 5 days to go! And and and...

 

And Mashaaf? Who cares about the PCs, if I put that down on the table I'll be having nightmares. Looks awesome Talin!!! But I think you need counselling. ;-)

 

Now I have to go take some valium and a cold shower, this is too much.

Hmm... first glance at worm thing I went 'eh,' then I went 'hmmm....' Lot of possibilities there... wonder if it's the same size as Great C'thulhu?

I pledged this one immediately. While I was in there I admitted to myself that I was going to spend more and went ahead and slapped another $50 in for future contingencies. I'ld like to tell myself that will be the end of it but I don't like to lie to myself unnecessarily.

 

Edit: OMG. I just realized that Mashaaf makes a perfect Tyranid Titan (or at very least a superheavy). She just became twice as useful to me.

I was just thinking how cool it would be to have all the maps without the $ values and maybe use them in some kind of Halloween game! The last map is my favorite. The whole Valley of Bones thing sounds so promising!

Here's a question. Warlord uses square bases. Reaper is giving people bases. The bases appear to be round.

Many of the figures are actually from the Warlord line and would make good inexpensive subs for their metal cousins. Why not provide bases that go with the game?

 

In addition, I am kind of surprised that they haven't thrown Warlord up as a stretch goal yet or the novel from the setting in epub format.

I am also loving the new map. Lots of good speculation AND a Troll Bridge. Prehaps my Pledge Troll dreams will happen. I'll up my pledge for that and suffer the blunt objects hurled at me by the family.

there was a response to a similar question that was basically, "because square bases are already produced and in distribution."

They said they don't want to give away Warlord rules. That would hurt the sales of every retailer that currently carries their rulebooks, and they want to keep a positive relationship with their retailers. Allowing all these minis at pretail does some damage to FLGS bottom lines as it is.

 

So, that maps has 19 stretchgoals on it, and then we head to ??? land. Think we'll do another 19 stretchgoals? the spacing on the most recent stretchgoal is 155k. So if the spacing didn't increase at all, we'd need another 2.9 million just to reach the end of the map. I desperately hope we make it, and get to see ??? land.

 

Also, I promised I'd sing my praises for a stretchgoal that I liked, to counterbalance my previous grumping. So, here we go.

THAT IS THE COOLEST ADDON I'VE SEEN YET! I WANT!!!!

 

Well, actually, I don't know about coolest. But it's up there with Narthrax, Verocithrax, and the Cube among my favorites

EUGH! What is that thing? It's horrible and gross! I want one.

 

But actually though, I'm not sure I really need that thing, given my pretty limited budget. I'll keep an eye on it though. It's just so gross! Anyone able to figure out how it'll compare to Cthulhu, based on that scale image?

 

And now, just over $75K to the Bathalians!
