I'm not going to jump on it, just because I can't justify what we've even got pledged now, but it's glorious and disgusting and humungeous! I know she'll look even more amazing as a sculpt, since it's difficult to get the whole 3D aspect from a drawing. Well done, Talin! :)

Oooo, I'm liking the looks of the Valley of Bones! My guess would be that the ruins + occupants will be the reveal in that area, just because it's going to be big when it's revealed (I anticipate it being it's own add-on, personally). I've only seen the teasers of it, and I wants it. I wants it baaaaad. And we don't even use terrain in our games! :wow:

I think I have a problem.

I like the Mashaaf. I estimate its going to be a bit wider at the base than Cthulhu and about 150mm tall. I'd really like to see some more concept art. Perhaps some is available? Talin? ;)

I'm having one. When I run Cthulhu the party can fight this first as an appetiser before Cthulhu makes them insane and then eats them.

Time for another digest, I think, before things get too crazy (though, given that it's Sunday, the Reaperpeeps have been pretty quiet).

EULALIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

(I'm running out of ideas for battle cries -_- )

@Claus - we do two reveals at a time - we have noticed that projects that post too many reveals all at once *never* reach all displayed goals. The Next Core Reveal, As well as the next Expansion Set Reveals will happen in due course.
We know a lot of people want *all* the reveals now (or at least one active goal for every type of reward), but that is not in the cards at this time.

Reaper should finally find some EU distr to cut costs for backers, to lure more of them with cheaper shipping costs and no VAT/etc

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago
@Hubert - We appreciate that, but have found that as complex as our structure is, it is not possible - Nobody wants to handle orders for us with hundreds of permutations and thousands of orders, in a manner that is *any* cheaper at all than us doing it ourselves. What you'd save in postage, we'd have to charge as a "brokerage fee" so we could pay the fulfillment house.

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago
@Hubert - you and I have discussed this before. I know you really think it's a great idea, but we're telling you that it only looks like that from the outside. We 100% get what you;re saying, but I;m asking to understand the we have people whose JOB it is to figure out these plans and contracts, and they say it's a bad idea.

Will there be a later option either in the KS or at retail to buy additional foam trays for the figure case offered as an add-on?

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago
@googoober - Very likely.

Hey, I'm always on lurking in the shadows. Like a Dark Creeper. Or a Dark Stalker. ;)

Ron Hawkins about 7 hours ago
Nameless - time to let you off the hook. Not a DC or DS. Sorry...
Although if this thing takes off like a rocket, we may have to start throwing in everything but the kitchen sink...

@Talin -- So ... a yeti?

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 15 hours ago
@Alan: I can neither confirm nor deny...
(Although I do want to do an "Epic Krampus" figure at some point. I really do.)

Wait, so you're saying that even at this point new drawings can be added to this kickstarter's list of options? Hello ogre monk.

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 15 hours ago
@Coralline: Well, it really depends on how big this goes vs. how many stretch goals Reaper has up their sleeve already (although Reaper is trying to have as much ready to go out the door by end of project as humanly possible). ;)

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 16 hours ago
@Coralline: Yep, I was here, just not typing - I'm working on a re-imagining of a classic character/monster/critter that I was hoping to get in this KS... But of course, my first version of him/her/it left Ron cold, so in the trash it went, and back to the drawing board I went.

@Dan, I would love to see some dinosaurs on that list. Reaper has some awesome ones.

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 16 hours ago
@Talae: The problem with dinosaurs is that it's usually pretty easy to find plastic dinosuars that are relatively cheap, dinosaur-shaped, and useable scale-wise for gaming. As much as I love dinos (and boy, do I ever), they just wouldn't likely sell well enough to justify carrying them. :(

By my super-scientific estimate, consisting of scaling my screen until Sir Forscale was the appropriate size and then measuring with a dollar bill, Mashaaf will be about 7" tall by 6" wide--a bit shorter than Cthulhu, but much bulkier, given that much of Cthulhu's 9" length is a (relatively) thin tail.

I'm really liking all the add ons and expansions that have been unlocked, recently! I really hope the next reveal is a significant addition to the core set...it's my only hope to get my friends, neighboors, and people in my gaming group to jump in. Here's hoping...

ehh... we have to remember not to put too much faith in the concept art, scale wise that is. The art is just a rough estimate. The sculptor is going to be a big factor in the interpretation of the concept and then Reaper can have the digital scan enlarged or reduced before making the mold. So making tight number size predictions off the concept art is going to be tenuous at best.

Have you used "SPOON" yet?

That I have! I think that was the one I used last time. ^_^

Whoa, [email protected] just got real. SAN loss imminent.

@OneBoot---How about 'For the bones!!' or 'bones for the bones god!!'---both stolen (and changed slightly) from Warhamster 40k...

Haven't played it, but I've definitely heard those phrases around. Thanks for the suggestions! :D

Surely Reaper would have scaled the art to be the size that the Mashaaf will be in comparison to Forscale.

Or start it off old school.

"Oyez, Oyez, Oyez!"

with something added like "Reaper will not confirm or deny anything!"
