Hokay, gang, this looks like the end of my active participation in this madness. I'm out to sea again; if I'm lucky, I'll be able to swing in for the forum victory party, but I'm not going to be much of a chatterer.

So ta, toodle pips, huzzah, and UP THE BONES! See y'all at 5 mill...

Have a save voyage or whatever the Navy calls it and see ya when you get back! We will save some minis for you.

It's a shame you can't buy sections of the expansions like you can in the core section. There are a few I'd want in expansion 1 but not $50 worth and I image the same will happen in #2 and #3.

They'll be release in retail after the KS; and they aren't splitting 'em up during the KS to have a more solid financial position this time than last time.

Given how reasonable the retail price are, I think it's probably still a win (just not a smoking hot deal) to buy individual pieces once they hit retail. Hopefully speeding up fulfillment means the lag time between when they start shipping rewards and when you can buy ones you missed (or need extras of) won't involve waiting 6 months.

Y'all needs to stop badmouthing my noble people, else you'll find out that goblins can make traps and tunnels too.

Hint: Pit traps work better if you don't write, "Pytt Rappp" in crayon on the cover. Though there is a tradeoff between catching intruders and catching cousin Grakk.

But think: how bad is it really if you do catch cousin Grakk?

Well, he is married to our mutual attractive cousin and does have some nice things. Really I ought to just build the trap to catch him. Then I can marry our mutual attractive cousin and have nice things.

I'm... I'm not really dispelling the stereotype, am I?

Time for another digest, I think, before things get too crazy (though, given that it's Sunday, the Reaperpeeps have been pretty quiet).

EULALIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

(I'm running out of ideas for battle cries -_- )

Reaper Miniatures 31 minutes ago

@Claus - we do two reveals at a time - we have noticed that projects that post too many reveals all at once *never* reach all displayed goals. The Next Core Reveal, As well as the next Expansion Set Reveals will happen in due course.

We know a lot of people want *all* the reveals now (or at least one active goal for every type of reward), but that is not in the cards at this time.

Reaper should finally find some EU distr to cut costs for backers, to lure more of them with cheaper shipping costs and no VAT/etc

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago

@Hubert - We appreciate that, but have found that as complex as our structure is, it is not possible - Nobody wants to handle orders for us with hundreds of permutations and thousands of orders, in a manner that is *any* cheaper at all than us doing it ourselves. What you'd save in postage, we'd have to charge as a "brokerage fee" so we could pay the fulfillment house.

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago

@Hubert - you and I have discussed this before. I know you really think it's a great idea, but we're telling you that it only looks like that from the outside. We 100% get what you;re saying, but I;m asking to understand the we have people whose JOB it is to figure out these plans and contracts, and they say it's a bad idea.

Will there be a later option either in the KS or at retail to buy additional foam trays for the figure case offered as an add-on?

Bryan Stiltz about 5 hours ago

@googoober - Very likely.

Ron Hawkins about 7 hours ago

Hey, I'm always on lurking in the shadows. Like a Dark Creeper. Or a Dark Stalker. ;)

Ron Hawkins about 7 hours ago

Nameless - time to let you off the hook. Not a DC or DS. Sorry...

Although if this thing takes off like a rocket, we may have to start throwing in everything but the kitchen sink...

Alan about 15 hours ago

@Talin -- So ... a yeti?

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 15 hours ago

@Alan: I can neither confirm nor deny...

(Although I do want to do an "Epic Krampus" figure at some point. I really do.)

Coralline Algae about 16 hours ago

Wait, so you're saying that even at this point new drawings can be added to this kickstarter's list of options? Hello ogre monk.

Izzy "Talin" Collier about 15 hours ago

@Coralline: Well, it really depends on how big this goes vs. how many stretch goals Reaper has up their sleeve already (although Reaper is trying to have as much ready to go out the door by end of project as humanly possible). ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~
Izzy "Talin" Collier about 16 hours ago
@Coralline: Yep, I was here, just not typing - I'm working on a re-imagining of a classic character/monster/critter that I was hoping to get in this KS... But of course, my first version of him/her/it left Ron cold, so in the trash it went, and back to the drawing board I went.
Talae about 16 hours ago
@Dan, I would love to see some dinosaurs on that list. Reaper has some awesome ones.
Izzy "Talin" Collier about 16 hours ago
@Talae: The problem with dinosaurs is that it's usually pretty easy to find plastic dinosuars that are relatively cheap, dinosaur-shaped, and useable scale-wise for gaming. As much as I love dinos (and boy, do I ever), they just wouldn't likely sell well enough to justify carrying them. :(
Huzzah!
Wait, where that Eulalia comes from and why is the same name a friend have? :D
BLOOD, DEATH AND VENGEANCE!
is a nice battlecry for gamers...
I wonder if OneBoot is nearing the end of good, referential battle cries. Perhaps we should start suggesting a unique call for her specifically?
For example:
"Beware my Boot!"
Or:
"Blood, Bones and Boots!"
Or perhaps:
"Damn the Complainers! Full Boots Ahead!"
:upside:
When do you get back?
OPSEC. Hopefully before the closing bell on Saturday.
He can tell us, but he'll have to kill us too. And then steal your Bones.
DON'T let him steal your bones! Stay ignorant!
Aside from that, be safe, take care, pledge more *NOW*! (I want more reveals) Edited by ladystorm
      Osmoticmeld is an experiment! It is a collaborative partnership between the renowned artist Ian Miller and [John Robertson], and was born of a serendipitous meeting over social media many moons ago.
      I must also extend special thanks to both Sebastian Czarnecki and David Pauwels, they have been incredibly generous with their time in giving advice, support and guidance: Seb’s also designed our website and David’s done some fabulous work with his hair sticks!
      I've been following these on facebook for what seems like ages as they've been sculpted and am impresses with how close they are to the Ian Miller artwork that inspired them
      Here are two little guys for the new year: Bones vege-(or vegy-)pygmies, sculpted by Kevin Williams.
      In the game lore, they are plant creatures arising from infestations of russet mold, so I wanted to incorporate rusty orange- and red-browns with the green.
      (And if you're still in the holiday spirit, you can sing a rousing round of "Rusty the Moldman".)
      I spent about 2-3 hours on each.
      It was fun to play with a few oranges, reds, and purples, along with the greens.
      I thought about adding foliage or other material on the bases, but decided to call these two done for now.
      Enjoy!
      As you continue exploring the cathacomb, you catch sight of a ghastly humanoid creature walk in your direction. The stench of death and rot lingered around its undead forms. You recognize with horror, a minion of the dark necromancer queen Kiaransalee. This is a 77159, Ghast sculpted by James Van Schaik.
      Well, finally painted him - and I'm pretty satisfied. I heavily borrowed/copied from this post: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/84520-77594-solar-angel/#comment-1788530,
      It went better than I expected.
