The Bathalians reveal has put me in a bit of a pickle. My budget is $200 firm, and I thought I was in on core, some add-ons, and expansion one, even though I'm not sold on all of the minis in expansion 1 (I really like Thoth and the dragon turtle). As a fantasy gamer, I was encouraged by the modern spin reveal of expansion 3 because I thought it wouldn't divert my attention. But I loooooove the Bathalians, and am already prepared to chop off those little blasters. What to do, what to do...

I was one of those pushing for the Bathalians as well, but I'm a fantasy buff and don't really want the other stuff that comes with that expansion pack. I figure I'll wait for the Bathalians to come to retail and just buy those rather than drop $50 on the whole CE for stuff I won't be using at all ever.

Actually it is slow today. Of course it'll pick up eventually, but today has been strangely slow compared to the very active weekend. Maybe everyone burnt out and need a day off :P

 

It has been pretty slow today, which is disappointing after a strong weekend, but I don't think there is much to worry about unless it is still this slow as we get towards the end of Thursday, heading into the final push.

The problem is that people get all moody over there, you have a few who are just wanting to whine about what they don't have *yet* and even though they are in the minority they still bring everyone down. I just try to keep things positive and ignore them.

That's what I am saying I hate the KS comments section for that reason. People complaining this isn't a good deal right now, which it is, people complaining that there are too many scifi figs, which there aren't. It's all subjective but to frickin whine and cry about it is just dumb. This KS is awesome, this community is awesome. Reaper Bones are the best quality most durable figures for gaming, period.

Totally agree PJ, this is my favorite forum because of the great community we have here. The only reason I'm watching the KS comments right now is because Reaper does tease us with little things and I get the pulse of what people are asking for on there for future figures as Reaper pays attention to that stuff as well.

I can see they might toss us another Trick card or another reveal of the CE #2 to get people more interested again. We are still cruising upwards, it's actually quite fun to watch for me.

 

 

OOOH Bones Kickstarter Sophie trick card! Yeah they should do that.

 

 

I'm pretty sure we won't see ANY Sophies here in this one. I seem to recall that she got traded in quite a bit in the last one and a lot of people weren't that excited by her (no pun intended), so they said she was sad and wouldn't come to visit us this time around.
