That's what I am saying I hate the KS comments section for that reason. People complaining this isn't a good deal right now, which it is, people complaining that there are too many scifi figs, which there aren't. It's all subjective but to frickin whine and cry about it is just dumb. This KS is awesome, this community is awesome. Reaper Bones are the best quality most durable figures for gaming, period.

 

I support the line. I mean, that's my choice. I don't especially need the sci-fi or whatever figures, but the way I look at it is: they're pretty cool, they look like fun, and it adds variety. I'm glad we got a police box. I wouldn't have requested one, but the reaction it got means it's a worthwhile addition.

 

Some people just don't understand that Bones is for everybody, not just their one peculiar niche. It's like people who complained about cavalry because they already have a bunch of horses. Okay, cool. I get that. I see why you wouldn't want more. But you know who doesn't have 50 cavalry? Me. That's why I want these.

 

I got some cavalry, some anhurians, the goroloth, and the mountain troll. I asked, Reaper delivered. I have a happy. Some other stuff I didn't ask for is also really neat. I am therefore content to see other things be introduced. This is adult, it's how the big underpants world operates.

 

But there's a small handful of people who could use half a year to repeat kindergarten. Would do them some good.

 

So all you police box fans? I am with you! I will buy it! I will paint it! Because you folks love it so much, and that's infectious!

 

For the Bones! For all the Bones! For victory and a big box of white things to paint!

 

YEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

it amuses me that RBryan keeps taking the sticky note with his Mini off the game board...

 

Wellllll..... if the Mini is the one of his current metal version, I can see his point. Maybe if it were converted to be wearing the Mr Bones robes, then maybe. But if it is a new concept Brianzilla mini then I think it's time to pull rank on Bryan.

Lack of pixy stix. A pixy stix deficiency is no laughing matter. That's why I'm usually so cheery, I'm pumped full of sugar and caffeine.

I just want to see everybody get something neat they like and enjoy it. It's like with the bugbears and gnolls. I thought they were already fairly well represented. Certainly the last thing I needed was more of them, since I went and bought a goodly number already. I don't think it's worth griping about. By the time they arrive the ones I have should be done, and I'll have more to enjoy. Or, since they're free and I have all I need, I might kick those along to try and get somebody else to join our cult.

 

But somewhere out there is somebody who looked at the initial core bonus and said: "Thank god, more gnolls and bugbears!"

 

So I love 'em. Because somebody out there got an early virtual christmas present. And will love the bugbear, and hug him, and call him George.

I believe it's something called, "the Internet." ;)

 

It has to do with not actually being face-to-face with the other people in the conversation that makes folk think they have the license to be total jerks. That, and maybe the lack of non-verbal queues.

Also, the variety primarily designed to serve other niches also serves me. While I don't really care one way or the other about the police box itself (except it is Bones, and I love the Bones), the police box lovers are why I got those gnarly angels. The sci-fi lovers are why I get those fantastic bathalian things. The Lovecraft lovers are why I got a neato c'thulhu.

 

It's all symbiotic, man. It's like, an ecosystem, dude.

@Buglips - I feel exactly the same way you do. I'm very grateful for everything that Reaper is tossing into this KS. Am I going to use all the diff figures? Probably not, but I'm happy that they are unlocking things that other people will enjoy and tell their friends about. It's going to make more people happy, which in turn gives better word of mouth, which in turn makes more people happy and pledge, which continues on and on and we get more and more cool stuff.

 

 

Bryanzilla with a buglips sidekick, do it Talin!

Just like Kaladrax and Hyrekia!

 

OMG - This would be EPIC! I would totally drop $25+ on that alone!!
