I have seen people ask for "supers" does Reaper have superhero mini?

That would probably make me drop more $$ on this KS. So far I have not touched my pledge since the 1mil mark.

I'm hoping they'll get added to and would fit really well into the Core Expansion #3. What's more Super Heroic then having cargo containers and garbage dumpsters to throw at the tentacled alien invaders!

........must...... convert...... oscar the grouch goblin...... into dumpster

What's with all the negativity on the KS comments? It's totally killing my KS buzz. Making me all mopey. I need some positive vibes, man! Or some chocolate. Or both...

"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"

^_^

This is the most awesome thing you (or anyone) could have posted as a reply. 2 thumbs up to you, sir!!

Now all we need is three Shermans, a bridging unit, and a marching band. Then, Profit!

I don't think I agree with you Caffiene, overall this thread has been really really positive. Sure some complain about the complainers, but there isn't any hostility, just a bit of fatigue felt by some that there are those that do whine about the KS when it is so awesome.

We'll have to agree to disagree. (I dont think it would be helpful to quote specific posters and call them out)

Ill just say that having read through them just now, there were at least 3 or 4 posts that came across to me as directly hostile toward the KS commenters.

Id also suggest that from the bits of the KS comments Ive read, it could be said that overall those have been pretty positive as well.

Like most things on the internet, the mood on the KS comments shifts around a lot. I haven't gone back to look at them in a while, because the last time I looked it was going through a vulgar phase.

I think a lot of people are feeling a little let down that the momentum from the weekend fizzled out. And that makes us all a little cranky. But you're probably right that maybe I at least should just stop looking at the kickstarter for a while and look for some zen.

There is some griping. It doesn't bother me, but I can understand your opinion.

My attitude towards the complaints about complainers is that most of those posts come from people who (unlike me), are willing to actually wade through the sewage of KS comments and help to inject a little positivity there and quash a few false rumors. I like to think that being sympathetic is my way of supporting their efforts.

Thanks guys!

I look at the variety of the minis like this - I got a lot of stuff I wanted, and for the amount I pledged it's a pretty good deal. And it just randomly happens to also come with a lot of stuff I didn't want, but which is basically free. So now I have lots of free useless crap to use as doorstops, or paperweights, or chopping up to make replacement parts for other plastic stuff, or to throw at annoying people and stomp on when I get ticked off (and just generally set fire to, because, well, I do that sometimes, lol), and don't have to use stuff I actually like for that kind of thing anymore... ::P:

(Well, okay, I mostly just chop them up and reassemble them in strange and/or funny ways, like putting bugbear heads on sexy half-naked women or making cavemen with machine guns, etc.)

So I'm going to go celebrate diversity by grabbing one of the first KS minis and spend ten relaxing minutes or so maniacally stabbing it with a hobby knife while pretending it's one of the people complaining because their free stuff isn't cool enough. Um.. I mean, "converting" it. Um. Yeah. ::D:

Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heroes? That is so weird -- I was just re-watching that last night!

But somewhere out there is somebody who looked at the initial core bonus and said: "Thank god, more gnolls and bugbears!"

So I love 'em. Because somebody out there got an early virtual christmas present. And will love the bugbear, and hug him, and call him George.

Thanks for the Christmas present Buglips. I may even get a second core because 8 bugbears is better than 4, and Imps need bugbears.

There are a lot of kindergarden children who are more polite and cheerful than what I've been seeing in the Kickstarter comments. I'm not sure what it is that turns some adults into raving sociopaths.

Lack of pixy stix. A pixy stix deficiency is no laughing matter. That's why I'm usually so cheery, I'm pumped full of sugar and caffeine.

Ah yes, the old nix the pixy stix trix during a fish stix pix-nix by dix hix who deserve slix kix with brix.

[Re-reads what I just wrote]

Dr.Seuss made it look so easy.

As of this writing, we still pledged ~$40,000 today.

It's no record, but it's not an insignificant contribution either.

Bryan just said this on the comments, and it's rather telling. Regarding the CE's

Bryan Stiltz less than a minute ago

@hazor - Yeah, we split them from 3 goals each at $150,000 per goal to 6 goals at ~$75000 (give or take) per goal, and split the # minis per reveal in half... in hindsight maybe trimming the opening goal and making it 5 goals might have been wiser, but it was a new idea to us.

The gap between the CE#3 stretchgoal we're currently working on, and the Mashaaf goal is 155k. Which says to me, that the next stretchgoal we see will be a blue/magenta stretchgoal placed BEFORE the Mashaaf one is reached.

Please, point out the flaws in my deduction if you see them.

It's called "Being human"

As far as potstickers are concerned: wild pork w/ chili & cummin, with a raspberry vinegar dipping sauce. Maybe add some stuffake mushrooms if you want.

Mmmmmmmm.

I've got a batch of my infamous "Three Flesh Chili" at home - completely forgot to bring some into work for lunch. Wild prok, venison, and goat slow cooked in craft beer (Emersons 1812) for 12 hours with herbs and spices and smoked jalapeno peppers. Combined with a Rekorderlig Strawberry & Lime cider, it's like eating winter and drinking summer.
