Is this model appearing out of a wisp of smoke or is that his cloak that is all tattered up?

If CE2 and 3 aren't fulfilled, I can imagine that Reaper may disassemble them and sell them off as 2-3 addons each instead of 1 big addon, so I don't think saying "this isn't happening" is helpful.

 

I don't see that happening, since it could in principle lead people to reducing their pledges, and possibly re-locking goals that that have already been unlocked (though unlikely).

 

I think that if by the end we don't fully unlock expansion 2-3, Reaper will take action at the pledge manager level, either by giving additional credit to people that have pledged for those or possibly by allowing pledge manager money to count for unlocking the remaining parts of the expansions.

Or they may change their mind. So far none of the expansions have enough for me to pay $50 but I would gladly give them more than that if I could pick sets out of each. Never say never.

You do realize that you can pledge the money anyway...and once all the unlocks are open you can either allocate that $50 elsewhere OR change your pledge back down to what it was. this way you can help everyone see what they are getting AND make a better decision as to where to put their moneys

By that logic everyone should just pledge $1000 or heck $3000 dollars and then dial it back to the $100 or $300 that they intended. ...sorry, I will pass.

I see this as the risk inherent with bundling your addons, but it's their show so they get to run it. I don't see how it could reduce pledges, since I'm pretty sure most people haven't pledged towards any half-complete CE's.

 

Even if they have, the pledge amounts will drop anyways once people pull their $50 pledges so why not give them 3 $10 pledges so you only lose $20 instead of $50?

Looking at the picture that probably inspired it...

 

Cloak emerging from the shadows? (needs more translucent smokey purple)

.....some people have been doing that...and it does get annoying..but that IS how the system works.

Dang, there is no probably about it. That looks cool. I will probably heat it up so I can exaggerate the posture more like in that picture.

 

That is a good point about translucents. It would look good painted if the wispy part was left translucent purple with a smokey thin black wash. You have changed my opinion of translucents.
