Does anyone know if that case is a good deal, price wise? I've only bought once case ever and it wasn't comparable to the one they are showing.

Does the goat demon's wings look like paper to anyone? They look like someone cut them out complete with draw lines.

 

I assume the wings are still being sculpted and they tacked on concept cutouts to give us an idea of what is to come.

The only beef I have with Balor's. I wish that they would stop with the whip. Get something new like a great axe or something. Despite that its still hard to turn away a Balor of any kind.

I have a KR multi case that is fantastic not much more costwise than the case here. I would like to know how the reaper case is as well.

@Michael: The real wings are not complete at this time, those are the brass plates onto which they are being sculpted.

Don't be fooled in to thinking that. Check the size of the KS1 minis and price and you'll see little connection.

The ones from the last KS are good, I like them. The slots are a little tight, though. Take the minis out too often, and the paint will rub off eventually.

My own beef with some of addons is relative sizes.

 

It's safe to assume that the draongs, giants and demon lords are big, really big. But how really big are they? There's no standard character mini next to them like the first dragon teaser picture.

If I want cases, I'll go with the Plano 4-pistol case, which is large, comes with pluck foam, and is about half the price. Walmart carries them as a normal stock item around here. But it doesn't have sculpted figure compartments with multiple layers of foam.

I got a feeling the addon large figures will be closer to retail this time around for the most part vs the huge saving for the core pledge

Yes, except for the $1 level. Its just when they will be shipped. Pledge levels are being used to stagger the shipping.

It doesn't, really... there is no standard Reaper scale for giants. It'd help if they'd add the Bryangles to the KS pictures, or put a well known mini in there with them. But I imagine they're a little rushed at the moment...
