My own beef with some of addons is relative sizes.

 

It's safe to assume that the draongs, giants and demon lords are big, really big. But how really big are they? There's no standard character mini next to them like the first dragon teaser picture.

 

Once things start to settle down some, I read in the comments that they're planning on going through and updating pictures with scale models (likely Sir Forscale) at some point, iirc.

 

SPECULATION AHEAD: As for the cases, it looks like it's probably the same case as last time, but with larger cells in the foam trays. The fact that there's only 4 trays instead of 6 points to this as well. [/speculation]

Hmmmm...I pledged at the $1 level, because I don't want the core set (for now!) but I am interested in some juicy Add-Ons. I have no idea how much to add to that $1 pledge. There is no way for them to take additional funds after everything has been unlocked and I can see what all of the Add-On options are?!? I have pledged plenty of KS projects but have never done the Add-On thing before. :upside:

 

It's like this: you have pledged a buck.

 

You decide you want the mouselings. You up your pledge to eleven bucks.

 

Later, you decide you want the kraken and the rats. You up your pledge to a total of $36.

 

You check in periodically over the next 24 days, and up your pledge as you see fit.

 

...AND THEN THE KICKSTARTER ENDS!!! OH NOES!!! AND YOU DIDN"T GET EVERYTHING YOU WANTED!!!! Oh, waily, waily, waily!

 

...and then they email you the questionnaire asking what you want. You then up your pledge to whatever is necessary to pay for what you want, and then you TELL them what you want... and you wait.

 

Worked last year, and I believe they're doing the same procedure this time. The only bad thing is that any money you pledge AFTER the kickstarter ends does NOT go towards unlocking stretch goals and stuff.

I'm thinking that if the giants were $10 and those Demon Lords are $15 they must be huge.

 

I got a feeling the addon large figures will be closer to retail this time around for the most part vs the huge saving for the core pledge

 

 

Actually we had some over retail last time with the addons so I'm going to be VERY selective on those.

They posted they are working on redoing the pictures to indicate scale, that priority is being given to updates at the moment. So maybe in a day or two, we'll see just how big these things are.

Yeah, Sir Forscale the Bold will help be a big judge of what I go for in the Add-On menu. There's already so many options. I have to pick the ones that I'll be interested in and which are good deals. Some of these I'd like, but I can see buying piecemeal at retail.
