I have been comparitively lazy about painting my Bones, and the magnitude of the task ahead is beginning to sink in. Because now it's not theoretical. Now it's "you best paint them 400-odd minis, son, cuz a whole lot more a-comin next year".

The next image needs to be Mr Bones doing a flying Dragon Punch through the Cemetery into the catacombs (or whatever's next).

Edit: I can't speak for everyone, but I'm hitting a bit of demon overload here. The 2 from KS1, plus 5 lessers, plus the Greaters and now the Lords...good thing they're addons.

USPS greatly increased rates earlier this year.. shipping from the US is getting redonkulous on price

thanks for this! Unless they've changed suppliers on the foam trays, I think I'll skip that add on. But so much else lovely things to spend all my monies on!

Yeah, I looked at the Heroes and Villains option and thought, those would make nice vignettes. But the people who paint vignettes would prefer to have them in metal for the better detail.

To be honest, I like the Bonesium better.

 

I can see why one might like metal better, but it's not my preferred material.

I like the sylvan creatures. I hope we get an underwater set too, maybe some other biomes or whatever.

 

I'm going to find some system of drawers or storage cases where I can label them "male adventurers" and "dragons" etc and sort all my minis. Then for decades whenever I need one I'll know where to look.

 

 

I'm really pulling for some warlord minis though. I would love to be able to play Warlord but as it stands a metal army is a bit too pricy, even though the game doesn't require huge armies. If they converted that line to bones an army would cost almost nothing and the game would be ridiculously affordable, even without the kickstarter savings.

Oh I do too, I use my mini's for gaming and that's the level I paint to. But there are some folks in this community that are true artists.

Enough good stuff in the core set so far that I'm not regretting my decision to back. Just waiting for some more Ben Siens kobolds!

yeah, kinda bummed no warlord sets have shown up. seems like they are doing everything but warlord stuff.
