I haven't seen enough examples yet to really make a call on it but thus far, with the sculpts I know about, I definitely prefer the old-fashioned sculpting to the digital stuff at this stage.

Of course that might just be me being a... whatyacallit? Grog Tankard?

Frog Yard. Like the space where you keep your domesticated frogs.

Back in my day we sculpted with a chisel, on little bitty bits of marble and granite. And we liked it! You kids with your newfangled expoxy putties, and color shapeamajiggies. GET OFF MY LAWN!

I actually do prefer the traditional method, though I think both can produce great miniatures. For me there is just something cooler about seeing a green take shape.

Spies. Spies everywhere.

I thought you were the spy.

Now get back in the air vents and tells us when we can expect more horses and that Buglips miniature. I have some very stanky shoes for you, or do you only accept socks?

Also where can a latecomer to all this forum insanity find your Cobra commander posts?

Thanks

The photolinks should still be viable, so I'll go have a look and round them up. I think they got a bit scattered.

Digital prototypes to greens are fantastic though. It means you can check out that parts aren't too thick or too thin before you even start, and pose/re-pose to your heart's content.

Maybe his wrist needs to be just a bit that way? No problem. If you prototyped in green, it's a bit more of a pain.

Ugh. I read that as Frog Bard. and all I could picture was a really annoying NPC frog-person with a lute...

...and of course Dark Sword Miniatures has already made one. :-(

Basilisk huh. cute little guy. I'll keep him in my frog yard.

I'm sure your new line of garden statuary will be simply ribbetting....

Maybe the basilisk could keep us all from hopping off topic.

Edit: And Yes. Frog Bards are evil! Now I must have several...
