Anyone know how much Kally weighs?

Also, weight isn't as much of an issue as you'd think. The cost of Bonesium is negligible compared to the cost of the molds, so complexity is a much bigger factor than size.

EDIT: I'm still curious how we're going to get down to just one goal at a time, since the three we've been going for all KS has jumped up to three all day instead of dropping down like Bryan said it was going to.

Does anyone have any idea what that big K is going to retail for? He adds $18 shipping on... and I do have a budget for this KS, so if he's going to be around Our Great Elder Gods cost, I'm tempted to leave him till retail (with free shipping).

Well Cthulhu retails for 40$, Kaladrax is worth 75$.

Big K looks to be somewhere in between, so 55$ would be a reasonable guess.

Im thinking hes going to be every bit as expendsive as Kaly just because of his weight. Thats 4 lbs of plastic hes going to be.

Justed used my kitchen scale to weigh both:

Cthulhu + box : 489g (1.08 lbs)
Kaladrax + box: 1146g (2.53 lbs)

Now I don't know what to expect anymore if Khanjira is over 4 lbs.

But is it 4 lbs of green stuff or 4 lbs of Bonesium?

Good question. I believe that is green stuff. Im guessing they weighed their green....Not sure if it was an estimate? anyone know how much of a difference there is between Bones and greens?

Well if I had to guess how he'll come.

His arms, tail, head, legs, Torso and base will be seperate peices.... Edited by ladystorm

Honestly I'm surprised the cost in metal would be that low. Pewter has gotten expensive.

Edit: Leaving aside the fact that you would need to tack weld that sucker together to have any hope of its own weight not pulling it apart.

Edit 2 for random thought: Did Reaper miss the boat not putting out a not-Nautilus with the Kraken? Hehe, 'miss the boat'.

From what I understand they were worried about it crushing itself as a green...

Er, now that I reread it, I specifically asked how much it would cost to produce in metal. Retail might be higher still.

Now I'm wondering how much 7lbs of sculpting putty costs.

Unless he's found a way to get it in bulk, green stuff seems to be about $10 for 3 oz, so... $350, give or take.

Which means that it would be cheaper to buy one in this KS than to sculpt your own.

Roughly $256 wholesale buying the 36" inch, 3.5 ounce rolls of blue/green 'tape' style kneadatite in bulk from Polymeric Systems (who make it). Yes I do order it for our store. ^_^

You could probably get a better deal buying the tubes, though not by much.

And the retail cost of that would be closer to $416.
