That explains it. I figured it was just the very international make up of the forums that was leading to so many people using that expression which I've not heard used like that much.

I thought this at first, too. I also thought "an butt" was a forum in-joke.

 

Funny thing is, though, that once I learned what the replacement words were I actually just start typing those in.

 

I assumed that phrase was because of the forum rules and just a way to avoid mod bats. I love that people actually type them now.

 

I also created a D&D monster, which I have not yet had time or place to use, which uses a gibber ability to cause rage. Said monster is the Anwoofingbutt. It just sort of sits on a perch and shouts at people until they get upset, then when they attack it throws poisoned poop.

Like the guy in Jaws said... youre gonna need a bigger brush. I think that was what he said. Anyone know if something that large requires more than one 0.4ounce pot for a base coat??

I really hope we get the CE3 unlock - jersey barriers have a good number of uses for me. It might be heresy, but the kaiju is less useful, though more awesome.

CE3 should be unlocked no question -- I, for one, am glad to hear what might be a different point of view than the majority of the fantasy oriented folks -- it is a little reminder to all of us that things that might not appeal to one person DO appeal to another.

So, back from helping a colleague with her move.

We've blown through so many goals today! Awesome!

 

I'm not particularly fussed by the not-Tarrasque, but then I'm not an old-school D&D-er. (I played a little 3.5, but most of it's been 4th ed.) However, I am totally stoked that Reaper have brought out something so many of you have been asking for cos A) It will make you guys happy, and B) it will up the total so I get more cool stuff that I am interested.

 

I suspect tomorrow night's Halloween party is going to be decidedly Bones flavoured. (KS finishes midnight in the UK)

 

Oh, agreed - I don't think I have any practical use for one, and certainly no room anymore, but I'm so glad to see that Reaper met the requests of the folks asking for it, and I think it's just cool to see Reaper exploring the limits of Bones as a miniature-making material. And, it's such a cool "miniature" (it doesn't seem fair to use that term in this case), it's a temptation for me to try for one anyway :)

Well, I had kind of hoped that more people would have came to their senses last night and the Kickstarter would have exploded in people yelling take my money the ten hours I was asleep, but that's ok. We made it to the demon Minotaur. Which several of my friends and I agreed, had to exist and be acquired.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get three of them! One is for me, and one is for my son. :)

I love Sci Fi and Fantasy, and I really don't get the hatin that some people seem to have for the other genre.
