CE3 should be unlocked no question -- I, for one, am glad to hear what might be a different point of view than the majority of the fantasy oriented folks -- it is a little reminder to all of us that things that might not appeal to one person DO appeal to another.

I love Sci Fi and Fantasy, and I really don't get the hatin that some people seem to have for the other genre.

Some of us don't have hate as much as it can be very difficult to run several types of games. I can't imagine how much scarier my collection would be if it included some Jedi, some space marines and some Zerglings.

Oh, and some Dr. Who stuff.

I just have the stuff to run any sort of D&D campaign, and a lot of the stuff to run Unhallowed Metropolis. (Which I am a fool for considering as I can never get more than three people together for that)

*Ponders her two very tall bookshelves filled with gaming books* I fail to see the problem. I mean if my mutants & masterminds group announced one day that they wanted to play a western with anthropomorphic animals my next question would be "with or without magic?"

I want All The Things!

P.S. smart phones make 30 minute lines easier to bare.

"You see, in this world, there are two kinds of people. my friend: those who up their pledge before the stretch goal has been met, and those who wait until after."

I have just increased my pledge again (hee hee hee!) in anticipation of reaching that big bad feller.

Yeah, me too, SO YOU ALL BETTER UP YOUR PLEDGES TOO!!!

That's also why I abandoned better judgement and wise credit management, and put this on my credit card :wow:

My only complaint with the Chronoscope set is that the marines don't include a lady marine and that I don't have the moneys for ONE OF EVERYTHING.

I'm not going to abandon wise money management that far... yet

Well its all gravy now, the ruins thing would be nice, but it really seems to be braggin rights at this point. Gosh mister my Kick Starter was bigger than yours!

I'm glad I learned what some of those weird words I see on the forums mean now, I just thought people were using lame words.

That is a funny monster Buglips! Too bad you won't be able to watch, and of course you left for work so you can't see this Godfather.

I think part of that is that it's minis as opposed to movies or TV. For minis use, there's D&D and Pathfinder that benefit greatly from minis, but not really anything corresponding to those that would make use of Sci-Fi. Personally, I do Savage Worlds, so I like both, but for most people D&D and Pathfinder and the beginning and end of minis based gaming.

I would bet you would see much less of a division in people who are hobby painters as opposed to gamers.

Interesting anecdote, KS1 ended on my birthday, and today KS2 is ending on my nephew's birthday to which I am departing at this very instant. So I'll be missing nearly all of today's action.

While I'm away, don't break anything except records!

"Pledge amount" records Buglips, not vinyl! Get out of my collection! We can still use them as large bases with sound effects.

Now give me the hammer...

Upped my pledge a little bit, and to account for more dungeon decor.... and the Kraken. It's just so cool. I don't know what to say even. I may never use it. All I know is I want it there, on the shelf, painted and reminding all those PC sculpts that all men are mortal and can be lost out at sea. (As many PC's in my campaigns have been)

I really really want more huge stretchgoals than just the Kaiju and ruins. My recollection of KSI (Which I did not actually participate in) is that it was packed with huge reveals at the end. Looking at their stretchgoals, though, maybe it was only Kaladrax and Cthulhu? The 3rd from the finish was itty bitty familars. So if we got Khanjira and Ruins, we'd be pretty much at par with the precedent KSI set?

Nah, to heck with that. I want all the huge things! I have another 125 dollars left in my budget for this thing! Make me use it!

I still hold out hope for a female space marine or two, not just a pretty posing specialist, but a real grunt like the fellas.

Okay, maybe not this Kickstarter, but one day ...

True. I love both, but the fantasy minis are just more useful. The sci-fi terrain is nice, but I'll pick it up at retail.

Yes, I play nearly everything, as long as the players are nice.

Tomorrow I will GM a session of Star Wars - Edge of the empire, next week another group will enter the world of Conspiracy X.

And someday I will get me a group for playing Hellfrost...

OK, we've got a little over 8 hours to make $150K. I need my Tarrasque. I've already upped my pledge for the Tarrasque and hopefully enough for the ruins, if we hit those, too (if not, well, more demons and more bases won't be unwelcome in my house).
