I feel like a jerk, but I think I may want more bases, but I'm not pledging because I want to see details first. Like, are the 1" bases really as useful as 2" bases if I don't want to cut the broccolis or have overhang? I feel like I'm preventing massive unlocks with the $20-$40 I'm holding back on. SORRY GUYS.

It's really going to depend on the figures. As we all know all the broccolis are different for each mini. I'll give you my experience thus far with Bones 1, I use 1inch wooden discs that I just superglue the bottom of the broccoli directly onto the disc. Thus far I've had very little to no need to cut/trim broccoli on these figures as they all seem to be just a little bit smaller than 1inch. So I'd say based on this that they are perfect for 95% of the medium-sized figures (normal hero sizes for D&D/Pathfinder).

Maybe we should get a new reveal now? I know Reaper doesn't want a missed stretch goal but it's not really an if we hit 3mil but when at this point. So what is after 3mil? Some small but reachable goal perhaps that doesn't kill reapers budget but we can certainly get to?

@Jeff bases are always useful man. I say 1 inch will work just fine.

Congratulations to all those wanting a Terrasque!!

You were all going on about it, and I didn't know what one of them was. So I was thinking I don't need or want one of them (whatever it is). Besides there are lots of nice dragons in the KS, and more to come, so I will just get them. Then Khanjira, the World Breaker is shown, and I'm thinking wow, what a cool (non-mini) miniature, might have to get one of them.
AND NOW Dragons don't Share.......arrggh!!.... can I persuade my ever loving wife to let me get one of them. Shouldn't really be a problem when compard to the Dragon she got me for a wedding present.

So, I'm in for loads of things, especially the dragons and way over last kickstarters outlay and then there will be all those dollars to be thrown at the postal system to get them to the UK. I am grateful that the customs and vat stuff won't hit till ages away!!.

and only $10k to go for the dragons!!

Hey - I just noticed that they added the figure ID number to all the images on the main Kickstarter page!

SKUs! Squeee! (I shouldn't be this excited about SKUs, but here we are).

Interesting, it looks like they aren't grouping figures up at all, as far as I can tell. (Aside from multiples of one sculpt, of course.) So nothing like the familiars, rats, kobolds, goblins, etc. I guess this means none of them are going to be sprued together?

and those ruins ... wow ...

For what we get, it hits 'wow' level but I have a nit to pick. I like them, definitely good enough to put on the table, but like Mashaff's underbelly, there are spots that look too much like the putty they were wrought from, most noticeable the Crumbling Tower Ground level.

But maybe I'm picky about terrain. The first thing i noticed about the kaiju's base was how the cyclopean* wall's cut looks off because it does not look like separate stones along the cut edge.

*IIRC there was a masonry style closer to this than cyclopean, but the name escapes me.

The ruins are more Romanesque medieval architecture.

Cyclopean is more of a Lovecraft term, isn't it? When I think of cyclopean architecture I think of things like this.

Yeah, now that I look at them, they are curious. Maybe these aren't the retail SKUs and are just for the Kickstarter.

We're going to hit 3mil with 2 hours left, but I'd be hesitant to do anything but a 60-75k trick at this point, and that's not going to drive new pledges like a big paid add-on would.

I don't recall exactly, but I think we hit Cthulhu's 100k in around an hour. And that was with a server crash.

They might have something big and awesome in their back pocket, to drive up pledges. Even if it's not sculpted yet, Cthulhu was only Talin art at the end of the last KS, and there was a surge big enough to get him.

At first I wasn't sure what you meant, but now I see it and...yeah...I'll have to do some carving to make that look right.
