I am trying to figure out how high I should pledge with the new thank you, but in ks.reapermini.com it doesnt seem to recalculate correctly. :(

Although slightly confusing in its naming. I almost added a $1 pledge when I went to update in the pledge manager.

I did a silent happy scream when I saw the numbers tick over to 3 million. YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!

 

I think it's smart that Reaper isn't including another stretch goal. They want to ensure that all visible stretch goals are met before the end of the KS, and they probably don't want to have to deal with another situation like KS1, with a stretch goal revealed in the final hours, then nobody knowing whether it unlocked or not because we crashed everything.

 

Servers will probably still crash, but I don't think it will be as bad this time.

Oh wow, I just went back to that Highland pack after pledging and I'd totally missed the Cloaker. Cloakers are pretty much my favourite odd D&D creature, there was this weird Cloaker city (Rringlor Noroth I think!) in the Underdark in one of the Forgotten Realms books that I thought sounded really neat. I'll be getting so many cloakers when they hit the store...

First they took our pirate map, and now we'll never know what lurked beneath the boneyard!

We got about where I was thinking we'd get last week. Doesn't look like quite as much of a last-day push as I thought, but we made more in the days leading up to it than I thought, so it evens out.

 

Definitely excited about DDSII and Khanjiru. Those are going to be fun to play with. Oh my yes.

 

 

 

 

But maybe I'm picky about terrain. The first thing i noticed about the kaiju's base was how the cyclopean* wall's cut looks off because it does not look like separate stones along the cut edge.

*IIRC there was a masonry style closer to this than cyclopean, but the name escapes me.

The ruins are more Romanesque medieval architecture.

Cyclopean is more of a Lovecraft term, isn't it? When I think of cyclopean architecture I think of things like this.

I've put in my max of $600. That'll get me everything I want with a little buffer in case anything gets added.

 

Bad timing for the end of this... my mother is in town and just got an offer this morning on my house that I've been trying to sell for 3 years. Lol my brain is mush!

But it was EXCITING. At the rate it's going, 3.1 looks likely with at least an hour left, so I'd love to see a 3.2 BIG BAD.

I restarted internet explorer and it worked after that (maybe some stale temp files), though it is possible they fixed something at the same time.
