This ending has me in a very weird place... It's not over... but it feels over... But I don't WANT it to be over. I'll be back in a bit.

This is how I feel. I have all this pent up excitement and nothing to do for ninety-nine minutes. I want to avoid sounding bitter or whiny, since this is a very amazing last day, and campaign overall, but I have nothing left to watch for, but also it's not quite over...

Aaaaaand I'm spent. $250 pledge for Core Set, Expansion 1, the two Master Paint Sets, the Thank You Set, and extra Barbarians. $249.46 inc shipping.

 

I'm almost glad I won't see this stuff until late next year. Between wedding planning (April 26, 2014 is fast approaching), work travel, and volunteering community social work (Lions Clubs International!), I have yet to paint a single figure from the first Kickstarter! That box sitting in the corner of my home office taunts me.

 

Thanks, Reaper, for another awesome kickstarter. Can't wait to see if there are any easter eggs in store for the last 100 minutes!

@Apes -- it looks like they fixed the issue. And no, it was not a case of hitting the wrong thing--it just didn't work, and reloading the page would result in the thank you add-on being zero-ed out. That said, logging in and logging out seems to have fixed it after they fixed things on their end.

Ugh, I should just go read a book or something for an hour and a half and see if there are any updates then. I'm way too antsy right now to get any painting done!

 

 

I expect they are waiting for the rush of people adding now that DDSII is confirmed, so the servers don't die. And then hopefully we can get something extra.

Does that bat make you privy to any knowledge that we don't have, or was that last sentence just as idly speculative as the rest of us are being?

Whelp. I'm in for about 30-40% more than I was hoping for. I've also retail pickups to do - more terrain, more caryatids. I'll be mopey for a while until I can wrap my mood around the great opportunity this KS is.

yeah, they were expecting 4-5 millions maybe, but that does not mean they can economically afford to give it at 3 million

But if we happened to reach the goals they had set for $3.X million...

 

I doubt we've paid for the "Thank you" yet. An 8 model goal would run us about $150k, so really, we're still working off the one they gave us on credit.

We are pledged for what will go through on the CC. Once it ends we have to come up with almost another 150 dollars. So it looks promising. And They will get more money from those of us who need another month or 2 to get the rest of the money fro what we want.
