Bones Kickstarter #2 Discussion

I have a lot of hard choices to make. My wife will already look at me with much disapproval at my current $250 number. There are a lot of minis I won't be able to get. My primary wants/needs are minis for playing D&D, and I strongly prefer old school monsters. Right now I am definitely in for core, EX1 and EX2. So that's 200 already. I definitely want the new paints too. I want to get some of the dragons. I can probably creep up my pledge soon, but I need to pick a number that is psychologically similar to 250 so my wife doesn't kill me!

350? Almost the same number, just 3 instead of 2 :)

2.5 * 10^3 is only one different from 2.5 * 10^2.

And now, it's time to grab a couple ciders, and start flipping between the Bruins and Red Sox games.

Have a good night everyone. Behave.

All I can say, is that I am glad this Kickstarter ended better than the Bruins and Sox last night.

Least the cider took a little of the pain away ^_^

Yeah, Warlord is a hard game to get a group for. They havent done the marketing that Warmachine and 40K have but I have heard the hardcore wargame guys mention that they pay it with friends. I think I am going to have to do the same, build a 4x4 in my garage and find some folks on Meetup, luckily Florida has a huge gaming community and I have a big garage and like building stuff.

A garage, in FL? Do you love the heat or something? You could melt bones in there 9 months of the year. I am in St Pete BTW.

I'm in Tampa! Well. I'm in a small community that is vaguely close to Tampa. The instructions to get to my house include 'Turn right at the feed store.' <_<

And just because he's building it in his garage doesn't mean he's going to play with it there.

Most people won't put the circular saw in the living room for some reason. Stupid societial norms.

Howdy neighbor! I guess I was assuming he was playing there as well....

I lived in Pinellas Park for 27 years ... hated all of them weatherwise. I think you could melt them 11 months of the year...

Woot, finally caught up. Hubby said I could get whatever I wanted, as long as there was no paint ( he thinks I have enough... but I only have 20 bottles, I swear...). So 2 core sets, all 3 expansions, a bunch of add-ons, including DDSS2. I was busy, all yesterday, so I will have to add funds for the spider and the thank you set later. Congratulations Reaper for a kickstarter well run! It was fun!

Just remember, you're not buying the paints. At the KS price, you're just paying for bottles, and the paint is free :poke:

Empty dropper bottles (3) = $2.99

Paint sets are 12 bottles.

4 x 2.99 = $11.96

Add on is $18

Paint per bottle = $3.29

Paint sets are 12 bottles.

12 x 3.29 = $39.48

Add on is $18

Okay, so the paint is not technically free. You're paying for approximately $6 of paint, which is still less than 2 bottles.

Adding prices.
