Definately not colossal-sized but I'll live. It looks to be about the same size as the Fire Dragon from KS1.

 

I'm digging the idea of getting several HUGE monsters in the same batch. The little guys are all gravy as far as I'm concerned. I am especially stoked about the giant scorpion. When they go retail I'll be buying several of them to make cavalry out of!!

re: Warlord. Um, have you guys been looking at what's been released in this KS? Warlord models are all over the place!

I was just hoping for something like a bunch from the same army, or a few addon sets or..something. And maybe the rule books? That'd actually be pretty cool, maybe as pdf's even. This is the perfect place for them to promote their game, I hope they do.

 

edit- but i do realise this will get me some minis to start an army, and a cheap scorpion is going to save me a ton. it's certainly more than nothing by a lot ;)

I don't like the Core Expansions because I prefer thematic groups, but what do you guys think?

 

Maybe if they had CE's which were thematic so the wargamers could have an instant army??

 

EDIT: Whoops -- they're gonna add more stuff to the expansion as the KS continues. Bryan's not the only person who needs sleep. Experiment, away!

 

What did you mean by thematic groups? I don't really see anything that breaks a fantasy theme there, which is what I'm assuming most people will pledge here for... granted, I'm not familiar with all those monsters, but they seem to be related?

I think he meant 'troops' of like figures, like 8 lizard men (or kobolds, rat men, whatever) in each reveal.
