Although I like the idea of the Expandtion packs Im not liking whats in them. just my own personal opinion I know others are stoked. Im disappointed that those lions are in there...though I may have to wait for retail for them. Unless they provide an Animal pack later on hint hint....

So our next three goals are laid out before us.

 

EDIT: two? two goals, and another for later on.

To be frank, I'm not a fan of the expansion set. If it were broken down into a bunch of $5-10 options, though, I'd definitely want the derro, hordlings and zombies.

 

EDIT 2: Does reaper have any plans to produce any living dragons the size of Nethyrmaul?

I wonder if there will be a chronoscope expansion set? I really like that line and sci fi in general and for those who aren't interested in them they don't have to pledge for them.

 

as for the current expansion set I'm going to have to pledge for it love the Egyptian themed minis.

So...for clarity's sake, could we not call the free additions to the expansion "options?"

 

Unless I'm wrong, the new group that includes the Avatar of Sokar (nobody complaining about lack of Warlord, now, hey?)is a free addition to the expansion. The caption in the image labels it, "core set expansion #1 option," which I realise calls out the title of the expansion...but it makes it sound like there's another payment in store if you want that set. I spent a few seconds having to parse it out, because I'm now trained to look for a dollar amount on images labeled "option."

 

Perhaps they could be labeled, "expansive growth" or some such. Or at the very least, an explanation of the greeny-gold background down with the color-coding paragraph.

 

Just my thoughts. I LOVE this expansion so far. Dragon Turtle, AvOfSokar, the Thoth character. The lions. That new ogre/troll rocks my world. Derek's Derro! All good things in my book.

I'm one of the few people who got almost no dragons in KS #1, and I was sort of wishing I had more big dragons. Now I'm going to have a hard time not getting several...

I really like this idea. I don't like sci-fi stuff in general and tried to trade away all my chronoscope and marines from the last kickstarter and have no plans to even paint them up, but it'd be a great idea to have core set 2 or 3 be ALL chronoscope stuff for the people who like them and want more of them.

A forth dragon plus the set of 4 dragon hatchlings this early on seems a bit overkill on dragons. Especially for those who did Bones KS1.I hope to see more villianous characters of unique races come up more.

 

And more paint sets. Everyone could use more paint.

Agreed. While I was not confused by it in the least, the wording is odd, and I can see how more casual KS backers (there is such a thing?) might mistake the subsequent unlocks for the set as requiring additional cost. A rename does seem to be in order.

But... there are so many flavors of dragon that need to be represented! That's why we need more!

 

I do wish there was a larger picture of the initial Core figures, but the early stretch goals were getting knocked out so fast I guess Reaper didn't have time to post one!
