For the sake of my wallet, I'm actually hoping this thing slows down a little bit. I got a little freaked out when my initial $100 pledge jumped to $350 by the end of the day yesterday. I'm thankful for the extended monetary stretches and I'm hoping the overall pattern slows down some. Chances are, in the final week of the campaign we're going to see another explosion of growth and it's going to get my pledge up a bunch more. Phew.

Is it bad that I don't know how much I've pledged so far? After pledging with the first two dozen folks, I think I upped it in the afternoon (after the communications FAQ was added), but I just can't remember. Fortunately, there's three weeks to go before I need to check the amount.

 

I do think that it is important that Reaper has a communications plan this time, and appreciate that it was announced early (so I wouldn't feel guilty about cancelling if it wasn't there by the 26th).

Wow, I'm ever so grateful (even more so than usual) for these forums! I tried to follow the KS comments, but they went flying by too incredibly fast for me to sensibly keep up! Though, it was fun to watch ReaperBryan and ReaperMatt having a conversation, both using the "Reaper Miniatures" account. ^_^

 

Squeeeeeee over the newly revealed core set additions! Our campaign is currently centered around The Whispering Way, and the rate that we're playing now, that Whispering Tyrant mini will get here at just the right time! Huzzah! :D

 

I'm also finding it difficult not to pledge for ALL THE DRAGONS. We only got the There Be Dragons add-on from the first one, and I've thoroughly regretted not springing for either of the big ones (Nethyrmaul in particular) ever since. Not this time! The INSTANT I saw that Narthrax sculpt, I upped our pledge to cover it (it has since been slightly upped several times). I don't care that we don't have room for it and hopefully will never see it in-game, I want it.

 

I upped our pledge to cover the Core Expansion set for now, but I'm waiting to see how sweet the deal gets before ultimately deciding to keep it (sooooo happy about those lions!!!) The sculpts are exciting and cool, but not sure how much use we'll get out of a lot of them. Though, the temptation to paint up that turtle dragon as Bowser is nearly irresistible; I'm already planning paint colors! :blush:

 

My rule of thumb with this one so far has been "Will I regret not getting this now, as opposed to later?" Which is why we're in for the translucent blues and clears, since I KNOW I'll regret not getting those. If need be, at this point, we can drop the paints and the core expansion, since waiting that long for paint would be difficult (I'll probably forget we pledged for it and order about half of those while waiting), and the core expansion is just kind of okay for $50 right now.

 

Narthrax is non-negotiable. I'll tell Husband to count it as one of my birthday presents if I have to. ::D:

 

Regarding the newly revealed sign at the bottom of the current map pointing to Muckbottom Swamp, my first thought was "Yay, we get to see where buglips lives!" Let us know if you see a small, robed, trick-or-treating skeleton wandering around. :upside:

I gotta say, all these pathfinder villains look alike to me. I like the druidy guy with the huge rack at top-left, & center-guy looks like he has some nice textures. Would never buy em, but for free? I have enough friends who'll love em, even if I do get two sets. On the plus side, I've figured out how to win if I ever sit in on a PF game, tho:

 

"Is anyone wearing horns?"

 

"Um... yes. The kings advisor."

 

"I stab him."

 

Hooray! The country is saved!

Minor geek nag, Hellknights aren't necessarily evil. Most of them are Lawful Neutral, even the occasionnal good one. Though don't piss them off. Not evil =/= friendly. :devil:

Say hello to Goody McGoodington. It wears a black armor, with horns dripped in blood. He likes puppies

 

Does all money have to be pledged before the end of the campaign, or will we be able to adjust our pledge amount afterwards, like last time?

Don´t quote me on this, but as long as I know, yes, you can adjust your pledge. I change from 100 to 120 for example without any problem

Those Pathfinder villains are all dudes, and most of the monsters have been neutral or aggressively dudely.

 

I worry I'm being oversensitive about this.

 

And hi, OneBoot. Those Kickstarter comments are a difficult way to communicate. They fly by fast and there is no way to search them or edit them. And since Kickstarter changed the regular comments format to be different from the updates comments format, you can't even jump to a particular page of them, but have to scroll up and up endlessly to find earlier posts. It's really atrocious.

 

I am not as grumpy as this message sounds, BTW.

Yeah, you're right. Definitely less females. I suppose they have less females amongst the monster and villain class stuff than they do amongst PCs, and we've seen more of the former than the latter this time, at least so far.

 

 

On KS comments: One trick for finding useful info is to go to the Reaper profile page and look for the link to see comments theyve posted. Then you can spot any info theyve given out without having to wade through everything else.
