Because I like making graphics for this sort of thing ... here's my rendition of a Bones II Core Set signature tag:

ks_banner_bones_2_core_set.gif

Feel free to add it to your signature. The URL is http://www.markshirestudios.com/images/ks_banner_bones_2_core_set.gif

Or if you aren't supporting Bones II but did support Bones I you are welcome to use my old one:

What we need is a Bones I & II Vampire + Core Supporter badge.

I for one am grateful for what I see and fall into the category of "the more stuff in the core, the better - even sci fi and chronoscope, despite not needing those for a game."

I started by pledging my max and have since increased to a new max. Hopefully I can find a way to keep it. I would love a one of everything pledge.

I'm glad to be supporter this time... I missed out on the first bones kickstarter but thanks to some awesome individuals who I met at Reapercon, i was able to get a vampire box.

I want all the dragons... and the Kraken.

Can someone please clarify what the names of the dragons are? I'm trying to find the metal equivalent to all the dragons available in this kickstarter.
So far I have noticed that the fire dragon is the silver dragon… Cinder is Deathsleet.
Which one is stormwing? Which metal equivalent is Narthrax?
Sounds ankle problem on Cinder/Deathsleet is being worked on?
Thanks!

What we need is a Bones I & II Vampire + Core Supporter badge.

Sadly there's only so much room in 300 x 100. I'll see what I can do to make a clean combo.

However, given that many of us have a Bones I Kickstarter forum badge I figured a purely Bones II Supporter signature badge was my priority.

It's late and my memory is fuzzy... did anyone post a complete list with the initial minis in the Core Set (so one can look them up in the store for larger pictures)?

*de lurks*

I know someone on a different forum I visit found a few of them. Don't know if they got them all. http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?699603-Bones-II-kickstarter&p=17237893#post17237893

*re lurks*

Thanks!

It's a start at least.

If no one else has made a list by tomorrow I'll probably do some detective work and post a list (with links) - not tonight, though, tonight it's game night!

Pingo: what's worse- fewer women, or more women of the 'cheesecake' variety: disproportionate, too much skin, and Fredrick's of Hollywood armor? Raising two girls has made me a bit sensitive; I'd rather have them under represented than objectified. Plus, all of the armored knights are really women (Brienne of Tarth ala Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones).

I don't mind cheesecake at all, provided it is not the only female option available.

What bothers me is the "out of sight put of mind" possibility here. This is Reaper ramping up what it will have available for years to come. This will be what is available in the market, what will influence how people think about their games, and at the moment it is imbalanced.

There ought to be a roughly equal balance between females and males in a fantasy world, for villains and monsters and heroes. There's no reason why a world with flat planets and magic and fur diapers in the snow and dragons can't have active women and female monsters taking part.

Looking at the specifically gendered monsters -- I'm not even counting things like dragons and krakens and skeletons and critters, because who can tell -- most of them are male.

I really don't wish to show ingratitude. Reaper has done a far better job than almost every other miniatures company with females.

I just wish there were a few more in the Kickstarter.

Cinder is the Cinder sculpt. Deathsleet was in the first kickstarter. Some of them (including mine) had bodies of the softer plastic mix and with the wings put on they bend at this point and fall forward. I solved the issue for mine by cutting off one of my colossal skeleton Bones and using his base for Bones Deathsleet, gluing the tail on to help keep him upright.

I was concerned about Cinder because the picture is of the metal sculpt. On a metal sculpt, the weight distribution is different - the tail acts as a counterbalance. With Bones being so much lighter, the tail doesn't do the same job as effectively - meaning the majority of the weight on Cinder is on top and forward. While this might not affect balance, it does mean the ankles are, like Deathsleet, a potential weak point. So I asked specifically about that, and had noted my Deathsleet problem and possible solutions previously, and was told that they'd listened and were looking at ways to prevent it.

It was never a really big deal, just a problem that cropped up that nobody envisioned in the transition of a metal sculpt into a different material. Not every Deathsleet had the weak ankle problem, so it seems like something fixable without too much hassle on the production side. I have every confidence that the new Cinder Bones will be mega awesome.

What's a good place to read up on fluff for all these Pathfinder guys? Rulebooks?

Here's some basic fluff about the "iconics". The characters representing the core and expanded classes of the Pathfinder RPG.

If you click further down in the "meet the iconics" link of each character, you'll get expanded fluff.

And with the latest Villains offering, some info about Hell Knights.

TENGEN TOPPA GURREN VILLAIN! I can't wait for that guy. (The PF Villain with the giant face for a torso, for the uninitiated).

There's so much more than the Core Set I want from this KS, but I'll probably have to wait for retail for most of it. :/

EDIT: Pingo, I super-support your post about female minis.

I wonder what US based supporters would think of a stretch goal that only paid for international shipping?

I think it was MiniCanuck that raised the posibility a few pages back, but I am quite taken with the idea.

So, what do you US folks think?

I obviously have the totally wrong attitude about this. When I logged on to the KS page there wasn't much stuff up. I looked at what was up, and decide "Yep, worth it for me." Then I backed. Everything since then is gravy. I don't care for some of the core add-ons. I didn't care for some of the core add-ons from the first KS, but to my mindset everything after the initial core is "free." So what if I don't have any interest in cowboys, or aliens, or space marines? I'm pretty sure that I can find someone who does, and gift them with a few free minis. Or, maybe trade. My point is, it's "free."

A thousand times, this. I wish more people understood it this way.

Perhaps it would be simpler to make a tag with a Kickstarter logo, Mr. Bones, and the tag "Bones-aholic", or something similar. Otherwise, that badge is going to get awfully crowded when Bones III comes around some day.

Buglips, Thanks for clarifying. If someone could help me identify the other dragons (specifically the Narthrax) that would be greatly appreciated.
