Here's another few quickies, my oxidation beasts! I call them Ol' rusty and Oxide:

Bases are miliput sculpted to look sort of rock like. I also took some spare shields and weapons from a sprue of super cheap plastic guys I got on ebay a while back (Zvezda stuff). Cut those up a bit and added some sand mixed with brown paint for a rusty look.

My light box definitely needs a bit more light as I can see stuff ends up in shade even now, but it's not as bad as before.

I like them. Your excellent pictures have just given me an idea on how to implement these little beasties in my homebrew, since it doesn't really specify what kinds of metals these not-rust-monsters oxidize now does it? So, I think my homebrew needs some oxidation beasties of different sub species that go after different metals, and are colored accordingly.

That's a really neat idea, and Bones make it affordable to actually carry out too :P

Since I have so many kobolds I'm planning to paint them up like chromatic dragons, along with flits, or maybe just the big dragons. So I'll have dragons and dragon-minions of the same color. Bones <3

Btw, I noticed this doesn't have a store image. Is that something Reaper picks from the inspiration gallery at random now and again, or do you have to do something special to make one appear there?
