Another mini for a player in the game I DM.

Oooh, dig those purple boots! She looks pretty snazzy, and I like that wall, too. Nice stuff!

 

What's the wall made from?

Thank you! The scenery is made from 5mm cork board. I used two planks for the wall and one for the cobblestones. I glued and pinned them all together, broke off the edges with some pliers to get the jagged effect, then used a file to make the individual rocks. It doesn't really show up in the picture, but I put a puddle between her feet because it looks like she is stepping over something on the ground.

I'm also a big fan of the wall, especially the vine running up the back. I like this color combo for her, too; I never would have thought to put her in red and purple, and it totally works.

is that etched brass you used for the ivy?

The vine is a Scenemaster Botanicals Virginia Creeper. I glued the vine in place, curled and oriented the leaves with tweezers, then glazed the leaf tops green while the stem and the backs of the leaves were glazed orange.

Welcome to the Forum. Nice piece. Another Klocke sculpt in PVC plastic! Really like purples, golds, and browns together, plus that base is very well done.

Of course the wall is cork! I could tell the ground was, but wasn't sure about the wall. Really nice work with that. Now I have to find some thicker cork board, myself...
