Starfire the Dragon

Here is my Starfire the dragon. I went with pink, and felt that I needed to paint up the wings to herald back to his namesake.

Very nice. I went with red for my dragons, even though my kobolds are done in a black-fading-to-purple skin tone.

This is fantastic! The design inside the wigs is so original, very gorgeous. Those colour transitions between the pink and the purple are so well done as well.

Well, I've got a very different dragon on my table right now. Starfire isn't all that big, and this other dragon I have is the largest mini I've ever worked on.

 

They mentioned that the contest is meant to help people finish larger minis, so I think I'll be entering the other one instead. (Also, my wife really wants that dragon finished).

 

As a side note, she is currently working on a large dragon, so I'll let her know that this contest is going on. It is always fun to have more cool entries.
