I just went in for completionist as soon as it was available, as I had already pledged more than enough to cover it off.

 

I figured that Stonehaven would have enough goodies to make it worth my while. I am not as happy about some of the green as I would like to be, but I know that it was the look that Mike was going for - and some of it is growing on me. My extra pledge amount will be going towards more gripplis, pixies, misc tools and trolls.

 

Edit: But I really like some of the greens - Librarian being one.

Troll Zerker is pretty cool looking. Looks like he's hunched over a bit and running which is cool. I worry however that he will just be short and his arms will end up sculpted going down rather than out. I only fear this because it looks like the cleaver is behind the foot in the art. I could be mistaken and I certainly hope I am.

I'd also like to see the sculpts. Not digging the Elve's they look too cartoony IMO. I'm in for the Grippli's no matter what cause those are almost impossible to find. If they have sculpts for the Pixie's before it ends I may go in for those as well.

I think that's a much smarter approach based on thier batting average with elves on this KS. They need to kick out one green of the gripli, one green of the pixies, and one Kitsune... and fast...

For me it's not that the elves look too cartoony, it's the fact that a lot of proportions and poses are weird and their isn't any consistency to the oddities; some have short legs some don't, some have hips, some don't, many of weird or awkward poses. A couple of them look alright if not particularly elven (closer to half elf really, just humans with pointy ears) I may still end up backing, especially if they reveal some of the nonelf greens.
