Awesome! Companion level! Now I can get the little guys + the elves like.

Now the question is which elf's knees will the squirrels be knee high too? The -normal legged elves or their evil brethren the short-legged elves?

For some reason Im struggling with the companion level. There are 9 groups in there for $5 and one for $2.50 total $47.50 however the pledge costs 48. Where did I make the error in my calculation?

Probably another unrevealed unlock. Or they're just annoyed at the 'anything but elves' crowd.

I get a total of $36 out of those companions which already have prices and are pictured in the companion pledge. That doesn't include the gremlin & owlverine, the squirrels, or the gremlin/grippli/pixie trio. I'd assume those will be at least $5 each (and likely more for the rider), so the $48 seems to be a saving.

 

Edit: Thought I'd do a quick breakdown to be more helpful. :)

Deer, Dog & Owl - $5, Male Kitsune - $5, Female Kitsune - $5, Grippli party - $5, Pixies - $5.50, Enting - $5, Gremlins - $5.50 = $36

Also included in the picture, owlverine rider, squirrels, gremlin/grippli/pixie trio.

 

Edit part 2 - the sequel: And after looking I see the squirrels are $2.50, rider $5 and the trio $5. So it's $48.50, plus the $3 if you got the pick and choose level. Not a huge saving, but it is a saving and maybe something else will be added.

Probably up until the end of the year, I expect. It'll come down earlier if we get the production casts sorted earlier than expected, though.But it's up for at least another month.

If you did it separately, I think you'd need to add $3 for the Pick and Choose pledge, so you end up saving $2.50 with the Companion pledge. (I think!)

Aaah! That makes sense! Well Im not interested in the kitsunes very much, so if I don't have those I'll save myself 7,50 compared to the companions pledge. :)

Successfully ninja'd with my last edit! And the pedant in me says you'd be saving $6.50...

 

Personally I'm still just as happy with this Kickstarter as I was with the last so I'm happy with my completionist. Just wish I could afford to go for two of each troll this time, but if I ever catch up on painting I'll get them later. And the grove of Entings takes precedence...

At this point or me, I'm thinking the companions level, the librarian, thief, pilot, and pilot on heron, and of course all the trolls.

Plus the elf children, the accessory assortments, and anything cool Stonehaven unveils at the last minute.

 

The rider on the stag and a couple of other elves are still maybes.

Companions level currently saves me 50p overall, which is enough for a

so that's ok.

 

Currently at companions, all of the accessory bits, rogue, librarian, necromancer and troll mage.

That companion level is tempting, but I'm going to be good and wait.

The companion level wasn't really added to give extra savings for people skipping the elves, it was just added for convenience.

It also saves you extra shipping charges. The more minis you add onto the pick & choose the more you have to add for shipping. $1 for 5-9 minis, then $2 for 10-14, etc etc. So you're saving another $2 shipping with the package, because that's "10 minis" (even though it's really 23, they just come in cute, tiny sets of killer adorableness... I love the flying squirrel....).
