I have a feeling that Stonehaven's "take home" on this isn't going to be as good as thier previous KS's...they really pulled out all the stops toward the end and this one didn't even reach 100K. I don't think they're going to lose money, but still...

I pledged for an adventuring party initially, but just can't find one that I like. Unfortunately I'm just dropping down to buy bits.

I made my final pledge adjustment. I'm going for the $3 Pick-and-choose and get the Trolls, the Grippli, the Pixies and a select few Elves (and the FUUOD!).

Unless in the next 2 days some new greens can convince me, one way or another, to make my previous statement a lie.

With the Owlverine, the Dragonfly, the Ice Queen and some other add-ons, the difference between hand-pick and Completionist became too negligeble.

So yes. Brand me a Liar and let's have it over with...

Knight have feet, but they still ride horses. I'd guess a dragonfly would be faster than a pixie, and probably have more carrying capacity.

 

I was hoping for a land based mount anyway for a pixie cavalry. Maybe a lynx, or a jackrabbit. Or an aquatic ride, a dolphin, a lobster or a sea horse would be fun. I wonder how hard it would be to fit an enting with a howdah.

 

It would have balanced the numbers of all the small races. Now they are outnumbered by grippli and gremlins. And they can't even fly away, the grippli have an air force.

Yes, those were all the points I was going to make. Pixies may have wings, but they're tiny so they can't move as fast as other things. A mount can help them move faster.

Plus a larger animal could allow for greater distance as well, catching the air currents, having the strength to move faster, has better endurance to sustain a long flight, etc.
