Carl
Very fun and useful video Carl! I'm curious to know whether you used any sort of sealer on the Bones figure? People have a lot of questions about sealers and that's something I haven't been able to test yet. Great question. I had a lot more technical information in the video but cut it for time. These miniatures were all sealed with testors gloss coat, which is called "clear coat" by testors and than sprayed with a testors matte coat. Which they call "dull coat"
Carl
I enjoyed the video but I have a suggestion, in the future do the filming in a less echo prone area it made hammer blows fun but not so much on the talkie parts. Definitely a good suggestion. My videos are normally recorded in a better space for sound. Edited October 22, 2013 by CarlHeyl
Cranky Dog
I found the step test interesting when I heard the skeleton go crack, and the Bones be perfectly silent. That and the flying hammer knight.
Magnus Mercury
"So what I have here is a cardboard box... I probably don't need to tell you that." - oh man, I couldn't stop laughing at that. Great review/comparison!
klawzie
Haha - knew that by the time I got over to Reaper, it'd already be posted. ;) I saw and upvoted this on /r/rpg on Reddit when your brother posted it. I enjoyed the video - made me laugh!
Artists Wren Posted October 22, 2013 Artists Share Posted October 22, 2013 Thanks Carl. So you haven't had any problems with either Testors product on Bones? (I mean no stickiness from the spray, or paint more prone to crack or anything?)
Carl
No problems at all to report
