reversednormals
Does anyone know what the last mini on the right is, or have a painted example of it? I bought these the other day, but I can't figure out what is what on him/her/it. http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/familiar/latest/77196 Thank you, John. Cranky Dog
[Grabs own familiar set] It's a... it's a... WTF? From the look of it, it seems to have some rose buds on top. I'm guessing it's a plant type familiar? Edit: Ninjaed, and with a better answer. Edited October 25, 2013 by Cranky Dog

You'll probably have to do some green stuff work on it. There's stitching on and a button on the face that will show really well once you paint her. Moderator OneBoot Posted October 30, 2013 Moderator Share Posted October 30, 2013 I had to stare at her for a long time before I could start to distinguish features, especially given that I haven't painted her yet. An interesting, odd little sculpt. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
JeffStray
I'm going with tiny statue for this one. Stone Grey followed by Walnut Brown wash. DONE.
MissMelons
OMG It was a Rag doll?! I've been staring at this thing thinking it was like a bouquet of roses holding a Buster Sword. The fact its a Rag Doll makes it even more awesome now! She's NEXT. /arms self with paintbrush
Loim
Awesome thing about the rag doll familiar is the one button eye. You could always sculpt another button loose on the base, or that's the idea I've always had for it.
Pingo
So it's ... a little rag doll with giant sausage curls marching while holding a machete? To be honest, it looks like someing Phil Foglio would have designed. Very peculiar and fun.

I don't have any experience materials for sculpting, but I do have a knife. Only a little work to make the face and button unrecognizable as doll features. I finished painting her, greens and brown, with some glow-in-dark paint. Im not sure if it appears more as "Fungal creature with knife" or "bloom of roses w/ knife" If introduced as a plant creature there will be no doubt. Qwyksilver
I always imagined her as Elise's little rag doll that she had as a little Vampire Hunter.
redambrosia
Here's alook at the metal version all painted up. http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49280-skarae-family-minis/?p=716078 Oh, I added a button eye. Cause... Betsy got repaired and we couldn't have the mini looking all sad and one-eyed. I would have added a cute little bow too, but my hubby didn't think of it until I was nearly done with her. Silly hubby
